Why You Need To Try Victoria Beckham’s Take On Toffee Beauty

Why You Need To Try Victoria Beckhams Take On Toffee Beauty

Another week, another sighting of what’s set to become one of autumn’s biggest celebrity beauty trends: luxurious toffee tones. While Amal Clooney was last week’s advocate, stepping out in Venice with “English toffee” highlights illuminating her naturally dark hair, this week it’s Victoria Beckham who is championing the look.

Pictured at her son Romeo’s 21st birthday celebrations, Victoria looked bronzed and glowing as she cuddled up with her family. While that base tan is likely the result of a summer spent yacht hopping in Miami and Europe, her make-up is a little easier to achieve, with the help of some products from her own make-up collection.

In a reel shared with her 31.4million Instagram followers, Victoria described how the foundation of her look came courtesy of her Signature Smoky Eye Brick, £54. The palette (VB’s “go-to, whether it’s day or night”) features four creamy shades from milky biscuit to burnt toffee, with Victoria adding that the deeper shades are great for adding definition to the arch of the eye socket. A subtle hint of contrasting colour came from her Olive Satin Kajal Liner, £26, along the lash line and in the socket, before she finished the look with lashings of her new Vast Lash Mascara, £30.

While Victoria showcased a top-to-toe take on toffee, if you only try it on one feature, make it your lips. A simple way to add polish to an otherwise bare face, fudgy lips add subtle definition and can be dressed up easily with the addition of a slick of gloss. To emulate Victoria’s lacquered pout, you’ll need her Lip Definer in shade 2, £24 and a layer of Posh Gloss in Bungalow, £28.

In a display of true commitment to the cause, Victoria accessorised her butterscotch beauty look with sun-kissed caramel highlights woven through her long brown hair. As well as giving depth to her darker strands, the creamy highlights added extra illumination to her already glowing complexion.
