Music’s big night is upon us, and there’s one woman many people waiting to catch a glimpse of: Taylor Swift. The singer is nominated for an impressive six awards at the 66th annual Grammys, including Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for “Anti-Hero,” and Album Of The Year for Midnights.

So, what does one wear when they know they’ll be the center of attention all night? Last year, in a nod to Midnights, Swift wore an inky blue Roberto Cavalli two-piece embellished with rhinestones. In 2021, when she was up for Folklore, Swift donned a floral appliqué Oscar de la Renta minidress.

The 12-time Grammy winner is a seasoned awards show pro, but not necessarily a predictable dresser. As we wait to see Swift's 2024 Grammys look, we're throwing in our own two cents—predicting what she might wear. From an homage to her impending Reputation Era to her Americana roots, here are those predictions.

Swift’s recent penchant for green takes us back to snake emoji days of yore. Instead of staying on-theme with color, perhaps she should consider the serpent-like bodice of this Alaïa dress.

Equal parts sweet and daring, Swift would no doubt stir up some intrigue in this pastoral Valentino dress. While she’s given the sheer trend a try before, there’s no better chance than the Grammys to dive in headfirst.

Sleek and sophisticated, this Erdem dress may not offer as much glitz and glam as a typical red carpet gown, but the detailing makes it a worthy contender. Between the very of-the-moment train and the beadwork, Swift would easily land on every Best Dressed list. Plus, with the ankle-length hem, she’d be able to show off her shoes.

This princess-like Markarian number reminds us of something Grace Kelly or Cinderella would wear, and also right in line with Switf’s M.O. Fresh off her 1989 Era, the singer has been rocking a light blue for months. Why not return to a time-honored classic for the Grammys?

Never one to shy away from sparkle, Swift maybe inclined to slip into some chainmail? Between the expert draping and thigh-high slit, this Rabanne dress is a true statement-maker.

A bit of a wildcard pick we know, but Emily Adams Bode Aujla’s ethos seems perfectly in line with Miss Americana herself. Sure, a white three-piece suit may be a bit out of her comfort zone, but you don’t become a superstar without taking a few risks. We love the idea of Swift rocking this Bode suit—oversized JFK papier-mâché head optional.

If she is in her Reputation Era after all, why not lean all the way into it in this vintage lime green Versace dress from spring 1996? Worn on the runway by Linda Evangelista, this look is already loaded with history, and Swift’s Grammys appearance would only add to it.
