Jayden Daniels has received plenty of praise from teammates and coaches since the Washington Commanders took him second overall in the draft and offseason workouts began.

Logan Thomas, 49ers agree to a deal

San Francisco has agreed to a contract with free agent tight end Logan Thomas, giving the 49ers a proven backup to All-Pro George Kittle.

Commanders focus on culture fit over need

Adam Peters says he can't believe how good new quarterback Jayden Daniels is. The Washington Commanders' general manager didn't start studying this year's quarterback prospects until January and the eventual No. 2 pick leaped off the screen.

Commanders get their quarterback in Jayden Daniels, fill several holes in NFL draft

While this rookie class won't immediately transform Washington into a Super Bowl contender, getting a potential franchise quarterback in Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 pick and filling several holes all over the roster is a good start for the new regime led by Quinn and general manager Adam Peters.

Top QB prospects visit Commanders Park as NFL draft nears

The Washington Commanders are hosting several quarterback prospects on pre-draft visits this week. The NFL draft is over a week away, but the team's decision-makers are already on the clock when it comes to picking their quarterback of the future.

Skateboarders wary of being wiped out by RFK Stadium redevelopment

The prospect of a glitzy new NFL palace anchoring a rebuilt, redeveloped RFK Stadium site has a lot of local politicians excited. But the idea has critics, too -- including the young members of a rag-tag group of neighborhood skateboarders who say they'll fight to save the beloved, graffiti-covered Maloof Skate Park that sits on the parking lots outside the derelict facility.

No team has been more active in free agency than the Washington Commanders -- new general manager Adam Peters has agreed to deals with 12 free agents this offseason, with most of those additions hired to help the team get tougher and faster in the trenches. Other teams, including the Baltimore Ravens, have made much splashier moves -- like bringing in running back Derrick Henry.
