Photos released of possible homicide suspects connected to Thornton’s deadly double shooting
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Almost a month after a deadly double shooting at a Thorton’s gas station in Louisville, police have released photos of two people they believe are connected.
The shooting happened during the afternoon on June 8 at Dixie Highway and West Hill Street. Police said two juveniles were shot. Both were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where one of the victims died. He was later identified as 16-year-old Sam Kamara.
The other victim is expected to survive his injuries.
On Monday, LMPD released photos of two men they said were involved in that shooting. They’re asking the public for any information that may help lead to their arrest.
