Alachua County school leaders approve IB program for Williams Elementary

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - An IB program is coming to an Alachua County elementary school in the fall.
In January, officials at Williams Elementary announced they submitted an application to become the second IB school in the county, joining Eastside High.

Alachua County school leaders say that application was approved.
Officials are now working on making the necessary changes at Williams Elementary for the program to launch.
