Infotech being bought by a Los Angeles firm

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A software solutions company based in Gainesville is being bought by a west coast firm.

Leaders of the company Infotech announced they’ve been bought by Diversis Capital, a software and technology-focused private equity fund based in Los Angeles.

Currently, Infotech has 279 employees and there are no expected layoffs with the leadership and teams within the company.

Leaders of Infotech say they have had tremendous success and now Diversis Capital will offer capital and expertise to grow faster.

Infotech was founded in 1977, with their current headquarters along Southwest 50th Terrace in Celebration Pointe.
