GRU late fees suspended due to payment processing errors
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Officials with Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) announced Thursday that late fees would be suspended until further notice because the utility’s payment processor was impacted by the global tech outage.

GRU officials did not state when the late fees would be reinstated, stating that they are suspended until the issue is resolved.
Payments can still be made over the phone at (352)-334-3434 or by visiting GRU’s drive-thru or lobby at 301 Southeast Fourth Avenue.
