AAA Vacuum & Sewing

This vacuum repair shop brought my miele vacuum back to life! Another shop, which shall remain nameless in the name of good karma, was trying to sell me a part that was used and not useful; by chance I brought my vacuum for a second opinion and saved $250.00! They fixed it for a very reasonable price and it is still good as new 5, yes 5, years later. I also buy bags from them quite often and am always treated as valued customer. I can't recommend them enough.

I have always had such great service from Jose. He has always tried (and succeeded) to extend the life of my high quality 20year old vac and always makes it feel like new. Never ever any pressure to buy anything, upgrade, etc.

Jose is always so friendly and communicative, a really great guy to work with.

Horrific experience - terrible customer service. They clearly don't care to help anyone if it's for an under warranty machine (and therefore supposed to be free).

The man on the phone was condescending, rude, and utterly unhelpful. He said I could bring my machine in but would be charged bc "user error" isn't under warranty - yet he offered no solutions or suggestions at all aside from saying I should to use all Brother branded products for my projects (which is unnecessary)! I kept trying to explain that my issue was with the bobbin tension, not with the materials, and what I had already tried in terms of troubleshooting - he would cut me off each time. I spoke up for myself saying "Hey, I'm asking you for help and you're being so rude" - and he simply told me to take my machine elsewhere.

Seriously a heartless man who needs to get off his high horse. He has no business treating other human beings this way. I hope he finds a job with no customer interface so he doesn't subject others to this type of mistreatment.

I ended up calling another sewing shop and they were so informative while still being KIND. They were able assist me over the phone and had the issue identified and helped me fix it within 5-10 minutes.

I purchased a bulb for my sewing machine. To my surprise, it burn out in about two weeks. When I brought the bulb back, with a receipt, for an exchange, I was told that they "don't make bulbs like they used to" and that "the vibration from the sewing machine destroys the filament in the bulb". Why are they selling bulbs that can't survive the vibration of a sewing machine for use in a sewing machine? I've been sewing for 52 years and have never had a sewing machine bulb last only two weeks. It's more like 10 years. It seems as though they are knowingly selling defective products and/or don't stand behind the products they sell. I won't be shopping there again. I guess I should feel lucky that I only lost $5.49.

I appreciate business like AAA that can help repair household items to extend their usefulness instead of disposing them and buying new ones. I mistakenly ran my vacuum over a small piece of paper that got lodged in the head, blocking the suction hose. It was so deeply stuck that I couldn't remove it. Jimmy quickly dislodged the paper; he was courteous and professional, and I will be a returning customer.

Before purchasing a new vacuum make your way to AAA. I was given so much need information about my broken vacuum. Turns out I'm the one who broke it by using carpet powder. I was given much appreciated information and service. Ultimately, purchased a vacuum and will return for another...yes, i broke two. It's worth the time to talk to a pro when spending hard earned money.

I finally made it here to see what was wrong with my 15yr old Dyson. I had tried to diagnose the issue myself with partial success.

Jose was able to fix the issue in less than 1minute ‍. He recognized another issue quickly as well but said I could use the vacuum without fixing it. He quoted amounts that seemed reasonable.

I appreciate Jose's upfront and transparent style. He could have easily taken me for $200.

I will definitely come back here when my vacuum really goes out.

This store carried the bag for Miele vacuum cleaner. I want to shop at stores like this to support our local community businesses. Even though the business name is Vacuum and Sewing, he mostly carries grills.

I WAS IN NEED, AND THEY HELPED ME with a quick fix on my vacuum cleaner and gave great advice. They have wonderful items in the store, and I bought several excellent cleaning products. SUPER NICE and helpful!!
