Gale is great! btw, this place is NOT closed. She repairs my favorite pairs of old pants and other items. She is very pleasant and professional. She also irons my sheets and does a great job! Easy parking in front and on the side. Her brother also does all kinds of appliance repairs or other types of repairs.

I've been going to this neighborhood cleaners for years. It started with Gail sewing some lace curtains I brought in- they were a bit tricky to alter and she did a fine job- since then she has never failed me. I have all my mending, dry cleaning and special laundry done with Gail. She is very knowledgeable about fabrics and I've even had Mr. Fix-it handy man do some work for me that turned out great. Great local business- I like seeing Gail walking around the neighborhood.

Had a mystery stain on my white blazer from a trip to Oklahoma over a year ago. The woman who worked there couldn't make any promises that we could get it out, but she said she'd give it a go.

The blazer plus a long corduroy jacket only rang me up $25, AND after giving the blazer a second try, she was able to annihilate the stain.

10/10 for dry cleaning and 1000/10 for cat decor all around the store.

Bonus thought- We need a sequel to the MTV show "My Super Sweet Sixteen" that goes into the weddings of the kids who were on the show 15 years ago.

This is my go-to neighborhood dry cleaner. It's the kind of place where the nice lady always greets me by name when I go in (and me being terrible with names asked her what her name was once, forgot again, and now am too embarrassed to ask again)

Anyway, the cleaning service is great, they do alterations, and really conveniently offer UPS shipping too.

I've been coming here for over 15 years - now driving over from Oakland because I haven't found another place as responsive, affordable, and reliable. She recently tailored four dresses for myself and my daughter, all within two weeks despite it being peak time.

Quality of alterations is very poor. Rushed and seams aren't done evenly or correctly. items not ready when promised.

In addition to doing my regular dry cleaning, Gail recently tailored my wedding dress. She did an excellent job and her prices were unbeatable (compared to the other SF tailors I looked into). I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer of hers! Beyond that, Gail has a partnership with Mr. Fix It, who we have used to fix our Miele vacuum cleaner.

I dropped off some blackout curtains here to be trimmed 3 1/2" and hemmed (they were slightly too long for my space). When I picked them up, they were perfect. They are exactly the right length and look amazing. I bought these to cover up a set of pocket doors leading from my bedroom to our living room. I've included before and after pictures.

Gail is a fantastic seamstress! I've gone to her for all of my tailoring for the last 10 years. Although I live in Walnut Creek now, I still go out of my way to bring my mending to Gail. I bought a shirt at a second hand store that I LOVED, took it to Gail and she was able to fit it to my body perfectly, and was able to maintain the original detailing in the process.

I also really like the fact that English is her first language so that I am sure we are on the same page. Nothing worse than thinking you explained what you wanted to a seamstress, to come and pick it up and find it all wrong.

I highly recommend bringing your business here. You'll get what you need and for a great price.

I'm from out of town but have been visiting SF for a couple of weeks. I needed pants pressed and given the great reviews, I took them to C-H. EXCELLENT experience....timing, service, cost and friendliness....all were 5 plus.

Finally took a pile of dry cleaning that's been begging me to get cleaned into C-H Cleaners. Not only are my cloths beautifully clean but Im so happy to have had a lovely dry cleaning experience, good price, timely pick up and overall a lovely service. I'll definitely be a return customer.
