We are having our kitchen redone and we ordered all of our appliances through direct appliance two months in advance, when it came time they promised they'd be delivered, Nothing showed up. We had to go to Home Depot to get the refrigerator. All others were late. Worst experience with an appliance store. If you want good service go to Home Depot
I do not recommend you go to Direct Appliance they do not follow up. They do not even tell you when things will be late. I had to call them repeatedly, over and over again just awful service basically no service.

They were great about delivery. Called me ahead of time to let me know they were on there way. Showed up ahead of schedule. Their tracking app is pretty cool. Tells you exactly when they will be at your home. I give up!

Purchased Bosch refrigerator and dishwasher from them in October 2021. I wanted to shop local. Good service and delivery. However: DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY! The warranty that they sold me was through New Leaf. It's totally useless and they know it.

We have bought kitchen appliances from Direct appliance when we remodeled two different homes. We worked with Vivian both times and will request her should we need or want any thing else.

I ordered a refrigerator and freezer (separate units) from direct appliance. Total cost 20k. I had to pay 1/2 up front. It took over a year for them to arrive.
Once they arrived they came to install them and upon arrival it was discovered the trim kits were not included so they could not install them.
I was told they could leave the refrigerator and freezer at my home or I would have to pay direct appliance to take them back and store them. I did not want to take responsibility for them so I paid the extortion money.
I was also told I should order the trim pieces through Lowe's which I did. A delay of 2 months. BTW did I not pay for a total install?
The trim pieces arrived and the technician (Alex) came to install the refrigerator and freezer. When installing he realized the stainless steel fronts were the wrong size. Install still not complete. No handles to open either. Refrigerator and freezer installed.
I was told the correct size panels were more expensive however direct appliance would not charge me the extra cost (ummmm wtf really).
Direct appliance ordered the right panels and several months later receive the panels and return to install them (I requested Alex return to install the panels and was told Alex took some time off. Oh I had Alex's cell number and called him to ask when he would be back.....his response was "they laid me off". Why lie to a customer?) only to determine one is bent and can't be installed.
Install still not complete.
The only positive part of this entire situation has been the person that I have been dealing with from direct appliance. RJ he is very communicative and honest. Responsive and A very good man. I don't know why he is with direct appliance.
I have a friend who has experienced the same type of service from direct appliance. Buyer beware.

I remodeled my kitchen and purchased over $7,000 of appliances from direct appliance. An induction stove, a new refrigerator, a double oven, a microwave, and the salesman "RJ" insisted in buying the Frigidaire dishwasher to match the other appliances even though we wanted another brand of dishwasher. From day one, the dishwasher did not work. Service guy came out and fixed it. Within a month, the dishwasher quit again, this time with an error code. They came back out and fixed it again. Since October the service guy had to come out 4 times to fix my dishwasher again and again. Service department advised me to contact my sales guy (RJ) to see if he could help us. He simply told me that he is only sales and has nothing to do with it now. Even though he practically begged us to buy this washer. Then the service department advised me to call Frigidaire directly to resolve the problem, she even gave me the number to call! I called Frigidaire who sent out an Electrolux representative. He didn't work on the dishwasher, he simply looked up the part number that was ordered by Direct Appliance, said it was the wrong part and then ordered the correct part. He told the service person at Direct Appliance that he is sending the part to my house and when it gets here, Direct Appliance is to install it which they agreed. Now two weeks later, the dishwasher quit again. Called Direct Appliance just now and they explain that since the manufacture sent out a guy, it is no longer Direct Appliances' problem and I have to get the manufacture to repair it. I reminded them that they are the ones who advised me to call the manufacturer and now they dumped me because I did. Side note, while trying to repair the washer the last time (two weeks ago) the repairman broke a plastic part on it and now direct Appliance tells me they will "look into fixing that" but not the part that stops the washer from working. This store does not stand by their products or show any concern for customer service. As long as you are spending your money, it's all good but to resolve a problem....good luck!

I worked With Brandon Today And He was Awesome! We went in to buy a new dryer and gave us an amazing Deal but when we got home we realized we needed an electric dryer and not A Gas one so I called Brandon And he was able to exchange it out At no extra Cost I Definitely recommend them and will Be Back For All Our Appliances Needs(

DARCY WAS AMAZING!
We recently purchased backsplash tiles and herringbone pattern insert tiles from Darcy at Direct Appliance (Modesto). Darcy was very helpful and listened to what we had in mind for our kitchen. She gave a few suggestions - one of which we ended up going with. After choosing a backsplash tile, she went to great lengths to locate the tiles and ensure that we received them in a timely manner. If you are looking to remodel your kitchen, I highly recommend Darcy. So, I bought a Bosch dishwasher this year. Janette helped us, at Direct Appliance in Modesto. She said it's the best dishwasher on the market.
She said direct appliance will take care of us, we just sign up for a long term agreement and not have to worry about service.
After installation, I noticed the control panel was not responding properly intermittently. Over time it got worse.
I called direct and they referred me to a company named New Leaf
New Leaf said they would contact the service rep and that that would call me.
The service rep turned out to be Sears. It took 5 days, they came out with no parts. They diagnosed a faulty control panel. They said the new panel would come to me, and that I have to call again to have it installed.
I called twice, left a message. Four days later the sears rep called and said he was running late and would be at my home at 21:30-1:15. I had another apt. And since I had no idea he was coming, I told him he would have to come the next day.
He said he couldn't, that I should call and schedule a service call! I complained, he said, ok I will handle it
Today a service rep showed up. Smelled like he stepped out of a cigar factory.
He has been here for over an hour, has no idea how to do this.
So much for direct appliance claim that they provide the service.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the product. She went the full distance to get us installed ASAP, and did back flips when traffic, tight schedules and various issues arose to get the job done. The installer, Alex was amazing. He knows his stuff! We really appreciate the above and beyond service across the board by this team.
Looking forward to great extended warranty work as well. Terrific group.
