Dowell's Moving & Storage

These guys were so professional. From the initial quote to very end.
I moved from Victoria, BC to Pincher Creek, AB. Adam was so kind, was always available to answer my questions, provided boxed, tape and wrapping paper.
The 3 movers that came (on time) were so professional, patient and very thorough with marking all the boxes, wrapping all furniture and double checking with me that everything was accurate.
When arriving in Pincher Creek, they were equally fantastic. And again exactly on time.
We had zero damage and in the end our final total came below the estimate.
I would highly recommend Dowells to anyone needing a long haul move and would definitely use them again.

We moved internationally and have not received quite a few items including garden furniture which we did actually receive all the cushions for but not the actual furniture.
No response from Dowells to complaint.

The initial quote and walk thru to determine job size was good but things went down hill from there.

My mother was a dedicated client of Dowell's for over a decade. She hoarded antiques purchased at auction--six large crates--all kept warm and dry at Dowell's for years upon years. Finally today, I had all the antiques moved into my basement (she passed away last month). Randall, Grant and Matt worked for hours through heavy rain--they were professional, speedy and polite which helped make the transition to living among all these dozens upon dozens antiques that much easier.

I haven't really had much to do with this company. I had a "relocation consultant" come over to do an estimate, and that went well, he was friendly, helpful etc. As he was leaving he said he'd email me the estimate, re-confirmed my email address and even gave me a card. I waited almost a week with no estimate, so I texted the number on his card. Nothing. Still willing to give them a chance (I thought it was possibly a landline so no texts got through) I called. No one answered, so I left messages. I never heard from them again. I had planned on using the company solely on the consultant, but they lost out.
