22287Sep 12, 2024As I have been wanting to try kahuna for sometime now. As I live on the mainland, I finally made my destination. It did not disappoint, walking in greeted graciously by owner. As we sat down to observe the surroundings to a very clean inviting atmosphere. Now the food, we had a beer(a beer is a beer lol) and a fruit punch we shared their BIG KAHUNA burger, you gots to try the monster, so good. Desserts' amazing, they make these beauties in house for an even better touch. Long story short, very good lol

My partner took me here because it's the only spot she found in Victoria that sells banoffee pie! That's all we got since it was my birthday and I am obsessed with banoffee.
The pie was really delicious! I loved the ratio of banana to toffee. It was perfectly sweet and the flavours were there (sugar LOL). In my opinion, there was too much whipped cream. The edge of the crust was also quite hard for my soft mouth. I do wish there was more crust anyway though to balance the sweetness of everything else.
Service was great. The restaurant was quiet and there's lots of space and tables.

Visited today while on vacation. Service was top notch. Greeted with a smile and treated like old friends or family straight away. Food was delicious and tasted like it was just flown in from the islands. Atmosphere was great and very clean. Highly recommended
