Does milkcow still sell the watermelon soft serve (in a watermelon slice)? I've seen it at the LA milkcows but I'm unsure if this location carries it.

Hello Sarah Thank you for your question. Because of the new location and everything has changed, we currently can’t serve this item in the new store. Hope that the item can be backed in the upcoming season. We… more

It's milk flavored soft serve ice cream that comes with different toppings.

The store is set up nicely with lots of open space, blacktop and wooden tables, and simple decor. I like that this drink/dessert spot is not so crowded like other places.

The staff here are very friendly. They seemed overwhelmed and busy since they just had their re-grand opening, but the cashier was friendly and answered all my questions without any problem.

When I placed my order, the cashier let me know they were in the process of adding milk to the ice cream, so it would take awhile. He apologized since there might be a longer wait for my order, but ensured that it would take some time because they wanted to make sure the quality of the ice cream met their standards. I thought this was very great of them. It shows they really care about the quality of the ice cream and they want their customers to be happy with their product.

I tried the M3 and M5. The M3 is soft serve ice cream with natural honeycomb. I didn't imagine the ice cream to really taste like milk, but it does! It's very soft, creamy and milky. If the ice cream melts, you can actually drink it like milk! I now know why they serve it with honey. The honey goes great with the milk soft serve ice cream. It was a bit too sweet for me, so I might have to opt for a smaller size next time.

The M5 came with sea salt, hazelnut syrup and coco balls. The hazelnut syrup is sweet and reminds me of Nutella. The coco balls are chocolate malt balls. I couldn't really taste the sea salt, so they probably have given us more. I'd recommend this one to anyone who has a sweet tooth.

This place just recently opened so I'm sure they're still in the process of getting things together. I think they can work on their presentation a bit more. They could offer a larger portion of cotton candy that's topped off on your ice cream. Their ice cream kind of melts fast so better take a picture for Instagram quick! My two orders of 12 oz ice cream came out to $12. I think it's a bit pricey but it's probably because they spend more time making their ice cream and offer natural honeycomb?

      1 check-in

I went here on a Saturday around 5:15pm and there was no wait! It was a hot day, so I was surprised there wasn't anyone else in line, but there were people inside this icecream shop though. This place sells other items too, such as egg puffs, milkshakes, tea, and even sandwiches!

We got the Strawberry Delight and also the Cookies & Cream soft serves. I love how the Strawberry Delight included a rolled cookie and that was fun to eat, while the cookies & cream had a different type of cookie with Oreo crumbs dusted on top.

I'd recommend this place! They have different soft serves which comes in a variety of toppings. I also liked how much variety they have here, so it's not just icecream. I just wish they would have the option to add toppings to the soft serve.

Looking for dessert, my wife found this place from Yelp.

The service was friendly and patient, as we couldn't decide on what to get.

Mango World: ice cream, diced mango, & mango syrup topped with cotton candy. Unique concept. The soft serve was nice and creamy. Overall, it's a good dessert 3.5 stars.

Milkcow is tucked away inside Sunfish Poke Bar. It's an ice cream and milkshake shop for those with a sweet tooth. While the ambiance might be a bit unexpected - you're essentially in a poke restaurant - Milkcow makes up for it with an extensive ice cream and milkshake menu.

The real star of the show here is the variety. From classic flavors to more adventurous options, there's something for everyone. I opted for the tiramisu ice cream. The ice cream itself had a rich, creamy texture, but it didn't include any ladyfingers unfortunately (even though it is advertised on the menu), and that was a letdown. The coffee flavor wasn't overpowering, but it balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the cream. I opted for the small cup, but I couldn't finish it because of how sweet the ice cream was.

The ambiance is a bit of a double-edged sword. Since it's located within Sunfish, there's not a dedicated seating area for Milkcow, so you might end up sharing a table with someone mid-poke. Though I will add that when we went there in the evening, we didn't see anyone eating poke. Everyone there was indulging in either the ice cream or the shake.

Overall, it's a pretty decent spot if you are looking for ice cream and milk shakes.

Location: It's easy to miss this spot, because it's actually in the "sunfish poke bar". It's tucked away in the plaza next to the Audi dealership.

      Service: Friendly and extremely quick.

Ambiance: quaint and cozy. It's a smaller shop.

Food: It's simple and delicious. My girlfriend and I love the strong dairy flavor and always get it with honey.

I still remember the first time I tried MilkCow! When they had their own location, I'd come here every almost every other weekend with my family to try something new. Now, they've moved into Sunfish Poke Bar.

Milkcow has always been in my top two dessert spots due to its soft consistency that melts in your mouth, not to mention the abundance of flavors they have. When they closed down and moved, I noticed their flavor list got smaller, but it's since expanded again. I used to love the strawberry and chocolate flavors when I was younger.

On this particular day, we got the avocado milkshake and IPA. I love pistachios, so I think this was a great choice, but the medium was HUGE. It was also super filling! The avocado milkshake was yummy, but it tasted less avocado-y to me, I definitely would've liked it more if it had a little more avocado.

I love the aesthetic of the shop and the seashells in the corner, as well as the seating. They even have a mini shop with local goods from the farmers market towards the back of the shop. Their service is friendly as well.

Overall, I love Milkcow! I've been to the LA location as well and it'll always have my heart.

My son loves ice cream, especially Thai tea flavor. Since I wasn't able to find it anywhere, I asked him if he wanted to try the Milky Thai tea soft serve from here and he agreed. We ordered the Milky Thai tea and added chocolate chips. After I paid, I was given the soft serve. Unfortunately, the soft serve was already melting when the employee handed it to me. As for flavor, you can definitely taste the milk flavor from the soft serve but the Thai tea syrup tasted like regular condensed milk. The soft serve was such a disappointment for the price.

Panicked when I put Milkcow into google maps and it didn't show up. Milkcow is still located inside Sunfish Poke so just put that in your GPS.

There used to be a lot more of these milk flavored soft serve places in the bay but Milkcow is one of the last I know of.

Ordered a classic milky honey and that was enough for me. Service was fast and employees were nice.

Wanted a dessert and Yelped something by the restaurant we were at. We could not find it despite Gmaps telling us otherwise. Oh, it's inside Sunfish Poke Bar!!! Signage is terrible.

Anyhow, once inside I got a Honey something or the other that was to die for and my friend got the mango something or the other. We both ordered the smallest size which was plenty.

Cook little spot to chill and enjoy this heavenly dessert.

I love the soft serve at this place! There are a lot more options on the menu than before, so it was so hard for me to choose since I'm so indecisive. I ended up getting IPA (M13) which has crushed pistachios and sliced almonds on the soft serve. The dessert was made so quickly, it only took a couple of minutes after we ordered. The place is a bit small, probably can fit 15 people maximum, but it was nearly empty when we went. It's a nice place to get dessert and hang out with friends!
