So, where do you park for your UCSF appointments at 1500 Owens building?
The answer is here. So, in driving my friend for an appointment at that building, I stopped in front and dropped her off to minimize her walking. I then pulled in from the north entrance in finding a space on the 2nd floor. There is another entrance if you are coming from 16th St. or from the south direction.
The blue disabled spaces were all occupied on the 1st floor but I found one two over from the elevators on the 2nd floor. The elevators led me to the Rutter Building so I took a right and used the walkway to make my way back to Owens. 1500 Owens is about a block and a half walk as it is diagonally across from this structure.
When leaving, I paid the lady at the cashier booth who was kind and friendly, sharing a smile as I paid her and automatically handing me a receipt with my change.
I forgot to check whether there is any validation for parking here. Need to ask on my next visit.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - NB A.San Bruno, United States0150142Oct 28, 2021
We parked here before a Warriors game last week, the home opener at Chase Center.
Price: $35, credit card, no cash accepted. Pay when you enter the gates, attendants were standing by to assist.
Clean and bright, elevators or stairwell.
Attendants before the game but didn't see any when we came back. There was even a security guard/attendant stationed at the side alley.
Location: easy 3 block walk to Chase Center.
***When you exit with your vehicle you're almost directly across from the on-ramp to 280, so much easier than parking at the garage on Warriors Way or 3rd St.
Parking spaces: attendants gestured where to park. Plenty of open spots one floor up (we arrived 1.5 hours before tip-off).
There were 3 cars parked in a row and we were told to park perpendicular behind them. Weird but lots of room and no difficulty leaving (we left Chase with 30 seconds left and hustled to the garage to beat the horde).Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 2 - 22207307Nov 28, 2021
This is the first time I use this parking structure for an event that was going to happen at Chase. I was impressed with the good service that was rendered at the beginning and at the end. They were very informative and helpful in reference to time frames and cost at time of arrival. It did give me a peace of mind to know that my car was safe and in a reliable area. The price is what would be expected for any type of event. We definitely come back as the ease of getting in and getting out of the place was very successful and not time consuming. Was able to get in and out very easily. I was a little worried because the show went on for longer than expected but they were aware and had no problems waiting for the rest of the audience to leave as expected. great job everyone.

First of all the address is 1800 Owens Street. The posted address is for employees only. I was told. Used on 3/30 Warriors game. $50 is cheap for a game parking. But it is cost effective then Uber or Caltrain when come from South Bay. Easy access to 280 is a plus

We appreciated being able to park so close to Oracle Park while attending the Lady Gaga concert last night. This parking garage was easy to navigate to from San Jose, and we were able to book our parking slot the night before online. That was probably the biggest thing. We didn't want to just show up and not know where to park. Our car was safe in a garage, and it was only a 10 minute walk to the concert. We would definitely use the parking garage again, highly recommend!

Great location for Warriors game, multiple charging stations for EV, felt safe (all that matters to me). I've read another review saying that it's $35 during regular Warriors season but it was $60 during WCF games, credit cards accepted only.

Now that Owens Street is finally open all the way from the Mariposa exit off of 280, this garage attached to the Rutter Center is the easiest for me to access at UCSF Mission Bay. It has at least four entry/exit ways that prevent backups (unless there's a big event or two at the Rutter Center), and the pedestrian access is convenient to Owens Street and the Rutter Center alike.

The staff who directed us to park was rude. We paid $50 to park in this garage for a concert. It is confusing and unclear where to go once in the garage. We sat in the car 15 minutes not moving at all when it was time to leave; it took 30 minutes to get out of the parking garage. It's a high security building to where we weren't able to get in the building after the event and then there's 1 elevator that we had to wait a few rounds to finally squeeze and get in.

I parked in the Owens Street Parking Garage when I attended a Warriors game recently. It's right off the freeway (280 Mariposa St. exit), and I didn't experience any traffic to/from the freeway/garage. (I arrived just before 5pm on a weekday.) There was a worker who directed us as to which space to park in after our pre-paid parking ticket was scanned and we drove up the ramp. He also directed us to the elevator and informed us what floor to exit from to get out onto the street. It's a short walk to Chase Center from the garage, and there were plenty of other people walking in the area which was nice especially after getting out late after a game. Btw, getting out after the game was a breeze, definitely a plus. Miscellaneous: there's a ride share pick-up area on the ground level, and it wasn't busy at all for those who need a ride and are willing to walk a short distance from the arena. Parking here is expensive - I paid $50 to park. If it's just a once-in-awhile thing and you've got people you can split the cost with, I recommend parking in the Owens Street Garage when attending an event at Chase Center.
