We recently hired Pacific Construction for project (dry rot) at our home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Jose's communication was excellent--he was very communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. He came to the house to complete an assessment and was projected to finish the project in three weeks but managed to complete it within just one week!

The team did a detailed walkthrough with us and cleaned everything up afterward. They provided a lot of insights into what to watch out for and educated us on what they would be doing. Their knowledge and professionalism were evident throughout the process. As a bonus, they even gave us extra plywood, which was not part of the original scope.

I highly recommend Pacific Construction for any of your construction needs. Their efficiency, attention to detail, and customer service are top-notch. Thank you, Jose, and the entire team, for a job well done!

I needed to have a large retaining wall along the property replaced. From the moment I met Jose, the owner of the company, I understood that he was very experienced, detailed, and knew exactly what he was talking about. His bid was prompt and very competitive. When the rains stopped, Jose, Osmin, and their crew started work, showing up at 8:00 every morning without fail and finishing their work day at 4:00. During the demolition and replacement of the wall, everyone was extremely polite and organized, and the site was left clean at the end of the day. The project, that also included replacing some stairs next to the wall, was completed on time and within budget. The wall and the stairs look great! I couldn't be more happy with Pacific Construction, and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Bay Area.

Upon learning that we needed foundation repairs on our house, Pacific Construction was one of the companies that we contacted. Jose answered my call and came over the next day to assess our foundation. He was able to identify the issues and give us a bid proposal quickly. We were quoted a good price compared to another quote that we received from a different company, so we decided to move ahead with Pacific Construction. The crew worked hard and cleaned up at the end of every day. It took 7 days to complete the repairs, and we were pleased with how efficient the process was. We were accidentally double charged for some fees, and Jose was quick to respond and reimburse us when I notified him of the error. We highly recommend Pacific Construction if you need to get repairs done on your foundation!

We used Pacific Construction to remove a crumbing foundation and replace it with a new one that included rebar and other seismic enforcements. They were also asked to put in a beam in the garage, remove two columns and put in a new floor.

They were great! The workers were consistent and communication was excellent. I thought Pacific Construction was well worth every dollar we paid them. I feel more secured now in case of an earthquake, and our garage looks phenomenal. They paid attention to the smallest of details.

Just gotta give a shoutout to Jose and his crew for crushing it on our recent front porch project. These guys were like superheroes with hard hats.

Communication was present during the entire project. They kept us in the loop every step of the way, from planning to execution. Jose was always very open to suggesting ideas and solutions when we ran into roadblocks. His crew were friendly, professional, and knew what they were doing.

Overall, if you're looking for a construction crew that's reliable, skilled and on-time, look no further than Pacific Construction. We will use them for future home renovation projects!

Pacific construction was one of the worst business we ever dealt with. He took money and never finished the job just kept asking for money. He kept delaying and delaying the construction in the home and never did a thing. Mike did not do the job at all. Do not go with this company!!!!!

I'm very pleased with the work Pacific Construction performed, and readily recommend them.

I had a ground rainwater leak in my house. Pacific's owner Jose scoped the problem & described his proposal very thoroughly, answering all my questions. His bid was competitive, and accurate -- no hidden subsequent costs. Pacific did a high quality installation of a French drain and waterproof membrane. They completed it in a timely manner and cleaned up nicely after the work.

In the year since this was done, there's been no leak, and the recent strong rains have been an excellent successful test.

We hired Pacific Construction for a basement level structural retrofit of our 1905 Victorian. The job was very complex and felt overwhelming for first-time homeowners like us, but Jose was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process.

They had mostly the same crew of two for the entire project, and they were very efficient, thorough, and friendly. They even took on a couple things around the house when they had downtime, like repairing a broken fence and building us a new mailbox.

Overall we are incredibly pleased with our experience with Pacific Construction, and we would certainly hire them again for future projects!

We had a great experience working with Pacific Construction on a very stressful repair to our house. I'm really glad we choose to work with them.

There was a terrible, stubborn leak in our living room windows downstairs. We learned that the wall had a history of leaks and repairs going back 10+ years from before we owned the house. In the end, most of that wall had to be replaced. There was lot of damage inside from years of water intrusion; there was so much rot. This was a big job--replacement of exterior stucco, interior drywall, five new windows, insulation, baseboards and window sills, painting inside and out, replacement of studs and framing, and a floor repair.

Jose, the owner, met with us several times before we even signed a contract. He took the time to discuss the project and answer our questions--we had a lot. We chose him because we felt he understood the problem, and he had the right skills and experience to fix it once and for all, so that the problem would not come back yet again. We felt the price that we paid was fair (we did get several other estimates for cost comparison and to understand what work was needed), and as the work progressed, Jose was communicative about what was happening and why. His crew did a good job keeping the site tidy and protecting the other areas of the house. The work was supposed to take 3 months total, but was finished about 3 weeks early, which we were very grateful for.

We're satisfied and I'm sure we'll consult them again on future projects for our house. We have already discussed other work that we may want or need to do in the future.

I am an Architect and I have worked with many Concrete Contractors. There are good ones and not-so-good ones.

On one recent residential project, one Contracting firm demolished an old concrete patio and poured a new patio slab. The new patio was fine. However, instead of hauling away the concrete remnants of the old patio, the workers scattered and buried the remnants throughout the rest of the rear yard. This was only discovered by chance many years later; a little too long to have effectively pursued any legal actions. This was clearly a breach of contract and the only reason it is mentioned here is to serve as a reminder of how dishonest some Contractors can be.

On the other hand, Pacific Construction, in my experience, is one of the most thorough and conscientious. The company is totally committed to a quality end product...and their clean-up afterwards is impeccable.
For any concrete-related work, I would recommend them totally.
