I love to buy fresh Jackfruit and Durian here. They can open it for you for free. This time I got Jackfruit for $6.75 lbs. It's very fresh and sweet. :)

Today I got two Yumi Organic Watermelons $1.29 per pound. First time trying this and it was very sweet. Seemed like I was eating sugar. I am going to eat half and the rest to make some healthy juice. :)Aug 29, 2022Previous reviewBought almost eighteen pounds of Oranges today for $1.29 per pound. "Double Happiness" is the best brand for the sweet and juicy oranges. They sell so many different fresh fruits and vegetables. Price is very reasonable. :)
Unfortunately, the pathway in the market is still very narrow.Jun 3, 2022Previous reviewI got a box of fresh Jackfruits today for $4.99lb. The Jackfruits was so fresh and sweet. This place mainly sell different kinds of greens, vegetables, fruits, dried food, and caned goods. According to the owners, they go to the wholesale market daily to get the freshest greens, vegetables and fruits. But the pathway in the market is very narrow.
It was easy to find parking.
Highly recommend this place :) - Dec 8, 2021
The hype is real. Great prices and fresh veggies. They fit a lot into this shop, and the line move quickly. I also feel that they are cleaner than the other grocers in this area.
I try to come earlier around when they open or later when they are about to close as I don't like lines or too many people.
Brought some yummy longan (dragon's eye) fruit here recently. It's a tad pricey at $9.99 a pound but so good.Helpful 23Thanks 1Love this 24Oh no 0 - Apr 3, 2021
Sure, I could of gone to a supermarket for fruits and vegetables, but it's more interesting to visit a Chinese produce store on Clement in SF. I was just cruising thru SF and decided to visit "new Chinatown " as they used to call it.
Chinatown stores sometimes get the reputation of selling "less than top quality" produce. That's why it's cheaper. But the fruit I bought today looked just like bananas in Luckys. The tangerines were beautiful!
The store wasn't really busy, just a typical Saturday. Anyway, it's Chinatown so expect to get bumped in this store with narrow aisles. The place is loaded with various fruits and vegetables. Also sauces for cooking. The cashier was a nice man who spoke broken English to me. Pretty straight forward, they weigh it and you pay. Pay cash, and the transaction is done quick.
Good dealHelpful 14Thanks 0Love this 16Oh no 0 - 76512636010Nov 11, 201759 check-ins
Needing just a few Shanghai baby bok choy for a soup sent me into this jam-packed green grocer that carries spectacular produce.
Everything was so fresh; Yin Xing's offerings went way above what you'd usually find especially at a smaller family store. They pack a lot into a little space yet it's still easy to navigate.
Not only well organized, service is friendly and super speedy.
I'd reckon Yin Xing carries some of the freshest fruit and vegetables in the city *and* at rock bottom prices.
Cash only.Helpful 24Thanks 0Love this 24Oh no 0 - Jun 18, 2019
CASH ONLY PEOPLE.
My family shops here and I'm sure all my aunts and uncles take the muni to shop here too. They have incredibly fresh produce at affordable prices, actually quite cheap compared to May Wah supermarket two-ish blocks away. If you're that type of shopper who goes from store to store to see what the prices are, I bet you Yin Xing is the one offering lowest prices on Clement. From fruit to veggies, noodles and tofu, they have a lot of variety in a small store. The place is owned by a couple and their daughter, you'll know them since they're the cashiers! Omg the lady processes the produce so quickly it's amazing. So if the line is long, do not fret! Almost always it goes by quickly.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Andrea L.Los Angeles, United States0836863Feb 7, 2021
The produce here is legit. The fruit is fresh and so reasonably priced. Cash only. A gripe of mine is that line can be long and it's indoors to pay so I'm stuck futilely trying to hood my breath in there (pandemic times). There's tofu in the back fridge plus wonton wrappers. All your main essential Asian ingredients are here: oyster sauce, fish sauce, coconut milk, condensed milk etc I much prefer to support this local shop

This review actually began decades ago, when I moved to the lower east side of Manhattan. I won't say exactly where it was I lived but it was about the best place ever for food: on a fringe backstreet of Chinatown. And hop over Canal and I was in what was at the time still a "Little Italy" neighborhood (not now, of course...then). Anyway that's how I got to know sauteed escarole. Science has found that a strict diet of escarole sauteed with garlic in olive oil, a splash of lemon and a grind of a reasonable parmesan, plus prosciutto bread, plus a bottle of older spanna contains all the nutrients you need. This is known fact!
At some point a decade later the big A didn't seem to matter so much anymore and I moved back west. So I determined I'd grow an escarole lawn. Didn't work out: too much fog. Finding escarole on a menu wasn't easy either: oddly enough Italians here don't eat it. I think it's because we have NORTHERN Italians mostly and they don't eat weeds much anymore. Buy it in a store? Sure, costs $3 a head when you can find it at some upscale grocer that just oozes foody-ism.
That brings me back to Yin Xing about which I have a bit less to say though afterall this is their review. About that escarole: I buy it here anytime for $.99 a head. Really fresh, perfect actually. But a drop in the bucket relative to all the other stuff in this place. To cut to the chase this is as good a fresh vegetable store as you'll find. The variety of greens is an education in itself, all in very good condition and really bargain-priced. And I give a nod of appreciation to all the Asian women who shop there for having taught me just how it is that Asians live so long, not that I ever exchange a word with any of them you understand. Just watch what food they buy and your diet will improve immediately. More on that later.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Elizabeth F.San Francisco, United States1186946Jan 28, 2022

I was referred to this small grocery store by a local. What a gem! The produce are fresh and plenty of variety to chose from. As I was shopping, they were unloading SUPER GIANT bing cherries. It was $6 a pound, but if I bought that same quality at Whole Foods or a gourmet grocery store, it would have been more than $6. I splurged and bought a bag and did not regret it.
The other produce I bought were "A" quality and fresh. This place has now become my go-to grocery store when I am on Clement!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0
