I think the cactus itself is just a cactus, but prickly pears (fruit of the cactus) are considered fruits. Me thinks.
Dragon fruit is also another cactus fruit.

G-man, I finally bought a dragon fruit. I had a choice between red and yellow. I picked the yellow one not knowing if it's sweet or not. Should I refrigerate it or keep it on the counter right now it feels like it's avocado ripe should I wait a few more days or can I eat it now?

    • 129 friends
    • 565 reviews

Gman, about how many oranges are in the bag at Costco?

    • 129 friends
    • 565 reviews

Well I have only had blood oranges a few times in my life, and the batch that I had was kinda sourish, and of course, sort of a dark reddish purple flesh

The ones I get at the farmers market is definitely orange colored on the inside and juicy. To me it's a balance between sweet and sour. Please remind me of Florida navel oranges when I would buy some on the interstates farm stands.

Obviously here in America depends on taste of mango. Usually they are imported. For Example, Mango Sticky rice dish most restaurants will used the

Lastly wherever its source the flavor will have to be near exact due to the variety of mangoes. I highly recommend them.

If one has to import here, I'm going to guess it is a little bit more pricier. Bad bad bad service by cheese cake factory on union square San Francisco!!! Placed order around 9:36 pm, they refused to seat us and said they are only accepting take out orders as they  are about to close !! We placed our order of Gluten free pasta , tacos and beef burger ... since my child is a celiac so we asked them if they hv gf good options and the order taker assured us and punched our order , stating order will take only 15 mins. After 40 mins I inquired about the order and they said they hv a lot of orders so still  would take another 10 min !! Finally after 45-50 min they had the audacity to come up and tell us they done hv gluten free pasta and we can take other other food !! Wasted our time & effort and by that time my kids had also slept :(!! We asked for a refund and they had nothing to say or give any explanation!!! Just a simple sorry ... I would not recommend anyone the cheesecake factory specially their union square San Francisco branch !! Highly unprofessional staff .
