I came back a few years later for the stove and the dishwasher that I wanted. When I reached out to Bobby, he immediately remembered who I was, and did everything he could to help look into how we could make my situation work. We ended up getting it installed (very promptly, and with great help).
Post installation, I'll occasionally message Bobby for help on how to do certain things such as, what's the best way to clean certain parts or various other questions I have. Bobby has been a tremendous help with the various appliances I've installed.
Greatly appreciate his and Cherin's help and recommend working with Bobby for all your needs!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 016 Apr 2022Previous reviewWhile I know there are varying reviews for Cherin's, I have to say that I had fantastic customer service working with Bobby. I initially picked Cherin's as they carried a brand I was keen on getting in my kitchen for a stove. While I was there, I also ordered a new washer and dryer for the home. Unfortunately, due to supply chain constraints, some of my order was delayed. Bobby was fantastic, he gave me multiple options to cancel, change or replace my order as he didn't want to push the delays back on me. While I ultimately had to cancel my stove order (due to other reason's not due to Cherin's), they provided excellent service all along the way. I hope to purchase all of my future appliances from Cherin's and hope that I always get to work with Bobby. If you're looking for someone to work with, look out for Bobby he goes over and beyond what would be expected for customer service. For installation, also check out Juan, he was fantastic in getting my appliances installed.

I needed to replace my defective Samsung refrigerator because it wasn't keeping my food fresh and the icemaker was leaking. (Samsung refused to do anything about it.) I didn't have a lot of room so my choices were limited. They recommended a Fisher and Paykel. I had never owned anything by that brand but it did have exactly what I wanted (stainless, interior ice maker, exterior water dispenser, freezer on bottom). At first we thought that it would have to be backordered but a customer canceled an order and I was able to nab it.
The store referred me to a delivery service and that went very smoothly. They were on time and very careful. They also hauled away my old defective fridge.

I have purchased all of my kitchen appliances here: dishwasher, oven, and washer/dryer.
The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly.
For my most recent purchase, a combination washer/dryer, I went into the store asking for one that I had seen in a friend's house, made by LG. The salesman told me straightaway that they do not sell LG products because LG does not offer service for their appliances in the USA. I thought that that was a good reason to shift my search from LG to another brand.
I gave the salesman my space parameters and he found a GE machine that filled the bill. I paid for it on the spot. The salesman told me it would take two weeks to get to me, and that is exactly what happened. He also recommended an excellent service for the installation.
All in all, it worked out well.
Truth be told, you will more than likely pay more here than you would at Best Buy, Lowe's, or Home Depot, but for me, it is totally worth it to support a locally owned business that has excellent follow-through on whatever they sell.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jesse D.San Francisco, United States331327 Apr 2024
It took several emails and phone calls to Cherin's before I was connected with a rep who actually did business with me. They were extremely professional and helped me find a new refrigerator (my goal) but never got back to me in a timely manner.
The biggest reason why I'm marking this review as two stars is because of my poor experience with their contracted delivery/installation vendor (Apogee Delivery & Installation). They didn't set clear expectations with me, and didn't communicate clearly and effectively with me. The sales person was able to explain the differences between the different models of the dishwasher that I was looking for and was able to get it delivered quickly. The installation techs were knowledgeable, skilled and able to finish the work quickly without any leaks.

You do not often have a great story about buying an appliance, but I want to shout out to Cherin's in SF. This is my second time using them, and they are fantastic. Such great customer service!
I needed a new fridge, and they were so nice. They used an equally lovely delivery company. You speak to the same humans who are timely, caring and professional.

Bought a new Thermador 4-burner gas range at Cherin's in 2019. (Thanks to their patient and freely given assistance, did extensive pre-purchase comparison shopping of alternatives before deciding Thermador.) The stove's been great. A few weeks ago its broiler igniter gave out, replacement needed, I undertook do-it-yourself. Temporary removal of oven door is a step of it. All went fine until time to put the oven door back: turns out there are non-obvious details of door hinge prep for putback that I didn't have. I read the manuals, talked to Thermador support, searched youtube; still stuck. Finally called Cherin's and Michael suggested - come into the store, we'll look at a Thermador floor model together, we'll go over oven door takeoff and putback. I did so, he showed me the "trick" I was missing (would never have found it on my own). Had the door back on 5 minutes after returning home.

I bought a new fridge from Dean, he was very helpful, kind knowledgable. I had a photo of my old one, which he was familiar with and could advise me on which would fit in my spot. Mr Cherin is also very kind. Loved supporting a local company and NOT buying from a big monster chain. Price was reasonable. The guys who delivered it were also excellent. (Don't blame them for graffiti on glass- great family run business.)

Initially- a great and very helpful experience ordering an exhaust hood...
Then it went down hill
Hood arrived damaged... they replaced it and their installer put it in (after we had to have someone else prep area to their specifications- not explained clearly)
The installer crammed in the stainless steel panel duct over (over the hood) and had to bend with his pliers leaving noticeable marks behind.
He even said..."we will get you a new one- this isnt fitting- I will call Dean (salesman)"
He even took a photo.
I followed up with an email, then another amd another. I left several messages with other staff, my husband called as well. Nothing.. no response for weeks.
Finally on a Saturday Dean answered the phone amd was beyond rude when I questioned why all the silence on their end. Completely speaking over me and wanted nothing to do with just replacing the $200 cover and installing more carefully. I was very upset by the unpleasant conversation and said i see this will not get resolved ill take my business elsewhere- then conceded and said he would reach out to installer.
Still nothing... more messages and emails left unanswered. We even tried installer.. no response.
Very very disappointed and awful follow up-
