It's really hard to find a cleaning company that is consistent, well priced and has good communication. This is the third cleaning company we've tried in Vancouver and by no means are we super nit picky about our cleaning, just want care and thoroughness.
I found the customer service on the phone super friendly and easy to deal with. I love that they call half an hour before they arrive to let you know when they will be there and the extra care and they take with the cleaning. They also may seem a bit pricier but their discounts for booking regular cleanings help with that.
They also are more than happy to correct any mistake or misses and are always willing to try to make you a happy customer. I feel like our cleaning is finally stress free and I don't have to worry about what I'll find when we get home.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 83290214431 Mar 2021
I chose to get a move out cleaning with Cleaning with Love due to the incredible reviews. I had sent a request via email and then spoke to a representative at the company, Prince. We booked the cleaning for 3 man hours but it only took 30 minutes for two people to clean. When they arrived to clean my apartment I had let them know that they needed to clean everything outlined on the scope of work, and that they did not need to clean the fridge/freezer. They asked if it was a move-out cleaning and I said yes.
I've attached some photos of the cleaning service received which show the place as not being cleaned. In addition to this, when I informed Prince of the service I received he blamed me for not reviewing the cleaners work and also not advising them that it was a move out cleaning (which I did inform them, and it was also noticeable given there was nothing left in my apartment).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zoe C.Vancouver, Canada13419231 Jan 2018Updated review
I don't know if I've ever been so disappointed with a cleaning service. Especially after being pressured to write a positive review after the first cleaning. I should have been smarter and waited before writing a review.
I'm sure they will respond to this review and say it's my fault. To be expected.
You will have a great first cleaning as they do this to get your business and a great review. After this your team will change constantly. There will be major inconsistencies with each clean. Our cleanings went steadily downhill over time. I stuck with them as they tried to correct this.
Our move out clean was a similar disappointing experience.
It seems the best way to get reliable cleaning is to find a single private person and not hire a company. I was a bit nervous about continuing my cleaning service while COVID-19 was in place, but when I enquired as to what measures "Cleaning with Love" was doing to keep themselves and their clients safe, I was very impressed. They have gone beyond the obvious guidelines and their level of professionalism is amazing. I feel really comfortable with having this amazing company cleaning my home. I also love the fact that I am supporting a local business who's quality of work deserves the highest acylates.

The team is fast and thorough and I love the little touches that make my home feel loved. They are extremely open to feedback and say that they are grateful for it as it helps them improve. I consider myself quite a fastidious person, and I am so happy with their services, that I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring high end cleaning.

We contacted "Cleaning with Love" on the phone, booked a cleaning appointment, which they confirmed, and we gave them our credit card details for the payment.
After the call, we sent them an email with the address details and summary of the reservation call. We also gave up another option that was being held for us with another cleaner.
45 minutes later we got an email from them, claiming that they cannot do the job, as someone supposedly booked that time slot online on their web site while we were paying them on the phone.
They also had the nerve to offer us to do the job 10 days later, having already heard from us on the booking phone call that this was an urgent job.
The other option with the other cleaner, which we had before - was not available any more.
We think this is outrageous - an excuse to avoid doing the job (as we chose the cheaper option they offered us) although they had booked it for us.
Even if their story is true - why should we care? It was their responsibility to lock that time slot for us while we were on the phone with them. They could apologize to the "other guy", as he only could have made the booking after we already got confirmation from them on that time slot, so we should have been prioritized over him. They probably preferred him for a bigger job (if he exists at all).

Thank you for your feedback! Please excuse the delay in our reply, as our office was closed for the weekend. We had actually emailed you this morning to confirm your appointment. However, it has now been removed from our calendar.
The issue with booking your visit, was that we had not received full confirmation from you that you wanted to proceed, as you told us that you were waiting for confirmation from your tenant. We even offered to be available to you on Saturday in order to make this work. When you did call us back, unfortunately the space was filled by an online booking as we were taking your information. This is a common occurrence when operating on a first come, first serve basis and your booking is not confirmed until we've sent you an email confirmation, which we have not. The last week of every month is extremely busy with move in and move out appointments and we would always recommend that you schedule your visit with 2-3 weeks advanced notice to avoid disappointment.
We apologize that you have not had a pleasant experience with our company and hope you managed to find an adequate alternative, who was able to provide you with the services you requested and stay within your budget.
Please do not hesitate to contact us directly should you have any further queries or concerns.

After just having a baby, my husband and I rarely have time or energy to clean the house. We had a terrible experience with another cleaning service (Kirei) and were a little leery of booking a new place. I read reviews on cleaning with love and they seemed legit. We booked them for a one time clean and boy are we glad we did! They were prompt, professional, and quick! The cleaners were properly suited for COVID restrictions and started cleaning the second they arrived. After a hour and a half, our 2 bed/2 bath was spotless. We will definitely book with them again!

I paid for move out deep clean service, one piece of glass in my fridge shattered during cleaning. Only cleaners were on-site, I have no idea how it happened. Contacted the company and they WILL NOT cover the cost of replacement and WILL NOT assist in even finding a replacement.

Cleaners did a good job, quickly, for a good price. My issue was with the booking - they took my credit card on the site, I waited a couple days for the confirmation of my requested date, then gave up and tried to cancel (I needed cleaning asap and assumed they were too busy). They insisted they would still have to charge me the full amount, even though my date/time hadn't even been booked yet as far as I could tell. Seemed like a skeezy business practice so watch out.

After two cleans and the same issues being missed, I complained and another team came back to ensure that my floors were cleaned to my satisfaction. Granted the girls are nice and friendly with animals, but the service was a far cry from what I expected to receive from a company known as "Cleaning with LOVE," that charges a premium price. After having complained and having to have the job redone, now suddenly they were unable to book cleans to accommodate my schedule which had been explained and agreed upon prior to agreeing to set up the first clean.

Our 5 star service satisfaction is directed at our clients. We are sorry we could not accompany you as a client when you called in to inquire our availability several times back in August.
You mentioned using at least 8 other cleaning companies in the past, all known to us, and how bad each one was. After assessing the reasons you gave how they all fell short, we came to conclusion we cannot be satiable for you, as our specific checklist and cleaning techniques cannot compare to your voiced list of personal standards, expectations and special techniques you require. Our staff are simply not trained to accommodate your most unique needs.
To serve our clients best, we log all calls that come in by name and inquiry details everyday. After several 40 minute phone calls from you inquiring of our saturday availability ...we were so sad we could not accommodate, as Saturdays are always jam packed, being the most popular day. Again, we are sorry not to be able to assist you in the busiest time of summer!
Yet staying on the line, we took every care to refer you to our referral partner, a fabulous company we always work with in times we cannot fulfill every wish...We gave you the number to the owner....her comments after speaking with you was, you said this about your phone call to us:
"how much you appreciated our time on the phone"
"how we took care of you"
"how great our customer service was"
etc.
We are very confused...between what you told our referral partner of your top inquiry experience, and what this review says??
We are not sure if you're working with a different company. This does not make sense. It looks like you also left a bad review for Kirei cleaning at the same time you left this review for us? I don't know who or what got you to write this for both our companies. It's very strange - after how we ended your availability inquiry on a great note, the last time we heard from you 2 months back.

3 ladies showed up to do a one-time clean and were very nice. During the inspection at the end, I found they hadn't cleaned the dust along the window ledge, dusted the tops of pictures and doors or cleaned the bathroom floor. Generally a lack of real attention to detail.
Today, it seems a pile of papers that was on my kitchen counter is missing. Possibly thrown away, we will never know. They weren't terribly important, but definitely not garbage. I was moving out this week, and got hit by a car the day before, which completely threw my plans to clean my apartment out before the checkout inspection. A call to Jo at Cleaning With Love, and she managed to pull together a rescue crew at the last minute to do what I simply couldn't. In an hour the team of three amazing staff tackled the whole 950 square foot apartment and got it to a state I couldn't have achieved in less than 5 hours. Thank you Jo & Mo and the team. You saved my butt!
