We just bought a new house and needed a chimney inspection. Our realtor recommended Hex Chimney. They came out, gave an estimate after a full inspection and then came back to do the work.

Eli showed up on time, laid out what needed to be done and within 2.5 hours was good to go! He put a new cap on the roof, repaired all the cracks and even re-painted the inside so that the finish would look nice and new.

Overall if you are in the area and need any type of chimney repair or upgrade i would highly recommend them! They were super reliable, very communicative and nice people.

I contacted Hex on multiple occasions to replace a chimney cap, but texting with them is like pulling teeth. Typically I waited days for a response and usually had to send reminder texts to get a response.

Finally I was able to schedule an appointment, but no one showed up on the day of the appointment. This was a huge waste of my time, since I had to leave work early.

Very satisfied with the inspection. Tech arrived on time, was efficient and friendly.

Very impressed with Sam of HEX Chimney Sweep in Lafayette. Responded to phone call immediately. He showed up on time, checked and cleaned two fireplaces, and returned to replace a gas valve. He's knowledgeable and friendly. Price was $200 per fireplace and everything was left in pristine condition. I will definitely use HEX for my future chimney cleanings and highly recommend him.

I'm very satisfied with the performance by Hex chimney, especially by Sam, with fixing my chimney cap problem.

I have a fireplace insert with a liner to the top of my chimney. But because it was installed some 20 plus years ago, the chimney cap area was not quite up to today's code. So Sam had to order 3 options to replace the cap.

He was able to get the items, and one was the ideal solution for my chimney cap problem.

My chimney cap fell over one day, and I wondered if I should try to fix it myself or call a pro. I'm glad that I called Sam. He discovered a much bigger problem that my chimney was about to fall apart. He showed me a clear plan with an estimate. He then finished the job in a very short amount of time. He has been responsive and careful to not cause any messes when fixing it. I'm happy with the finished work and definitely will use his services again.
