Rolling Stock is a locally owned and operated automotive service center founded in 1988. Today we are located at 601 Bayshore Boulevard San Francisco, CA 94124; but you may remember us from one of our previous locations in the Mission District (2860 16th St. and 695 South Van Ness Ave). We treat our customers' vehicles as if they were our own. Whether you are from San Francisco, CA, South San Francisco, CA, Daly City, CA, or another surrounding area, please contact us online or by phone to schedule an appointment or drop by and see us during business hours. We're open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Hi Andrew We sure do! Tire Rack deliveries are accepted. It's helpful for you to get in touch with us before delivery so we can create a Work Order connecting the tires to your personal info. Thanks!

This team is the best! They repaired a very poorly done powder-coating job that was performed at another shop. Super professional, prompt, and communicative -- what more could you ask for? Plus my wheels look great!

Their record stated my rear tires were replaced & they placed the new tires in front. Today, I came to have them look at the front tires. They said they never placed the new tires in front, placing them in the rear.
After sitting 3 hours, I was wondering what was going on to find out they haven't even started on my car. I started noticing people who arrived after me leaving before me. They said they had a couple customers before me. They could have told me, come back after xx hours. They said they did not know it will take 3+ hours before they can get to my car? They then said you can come back tomorrow! People take time to do this, they can't just randomly be off work the next day!

Any business can make a mistake. It's how they deal with it that shows their true colors.
They were supposed to rotate one tire from the right rear to the right front before installing new tires on the rear. I also told them I had a new hubcap for them to use and I put it on the driver seat where no one could miss it.
When they were done with my car, no one told me, so I sat there for maybe an extra half hour 45 minutes after mine was ready.
Unfortunately, I paid before inspecting my vehicle.
When I went to my vehicle, I noticed the brand new hubcap was on my passenger side floor uninstalled. I looked at the right front tire that they said they would rotate out, one that was leaking air badly, and it was still there.
When I asked the guy who gave me the piece of paper stating that they were rotating the tires, he said all the tires needed replacing so it didn't matter. I told him the right front tire leaked badly, which is why I asked for the rotation before. He still wouldn't do it. I reminded him that he had promised they would do it, he put it in writing, and he had even drawn a diagram, showing that those two tires should have been rotated before installing the new ones.
When I asked him to take the tire that was on the right rear and put it on the front right, he said that they would have to charge me for mounting and balancing. I said you wouldn't have to mount it and balance it if you would have rotated the tires like you promised. He insisted the rear tire was just as bad and refused to do the job, even when I told him I was gonna have to keep putting air in that right front tire every day until I can get another tire.
I can no longer trust this business. They don't fulfill their promises, even if it's quick and easy. They'd rather waste your time arguing.
I'm getting two more new tires next week, but at a different shop. Meanwhile, I'm going from gas station to gas station looking for a functional air compressor to fill my tire.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathy H.South San Francisco, United States6426184 Sept 2024
Service is always top notch and every time I think I'm going to pay an arm and a leg, I'm pleasantly surprised at the total (which is usually 1/2 of what I thought it would be!)

Walked in to get one of my wheels fixed (cracked lip). They were able to weld the crack and the weld was done good. Repair, and mount and balance was $145. Pretty good for the value and the service was good too. I'd go back again if I need to get another wheel fixed.

I was looking to fix a dented rim. Francisco, Rolling Stock service agent, was very responsive and arranged to have the rim fixed while I waited. The place is clean, professional, and busy. The waiting place and office could have been a high-end jewelry store, what with all the shiny wheels hanging on the wall.

I needed new tires for my wife's car. Called Rolling Stock and was graciously helped by Clay. Went down to the shop and was assisted by Rick. They found a crack in one of the wheels which they were able to repair. Now I understood where that slow leak was coming from. I thought it was the tire but the wheel was the culprit. The folks at Rolling Stock couldn't have been more helpful and competent. It was my pleasure to do business with them. Now my wife has fresh tires and no more slow leaks I highly recommend Rolling Stock for your tire and wheel work.

Great services!
My husband needed wheel alignment and we contacted a couple shops before we found Rolling Stock. Just right after we walked out from Firestone with misinformations and horrible customer service there, this shop was a completely turntable for us.
They replied promptly through Yelp with quotes. We were greeted and were told there were some back ups with few hours queue time, so we came back the next morning at 10:40ish. We expected it would take 2hrs and roamed near by neighborhood. Less than an hr later, they called and told us our car was done. In my head it's still lighting fast because I wasn't done roaming.
I didn't get our guy's name but he was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. We were not invisible on both days we were here nor we were given misinformations. Besides the professional and great customer services they provide, what really stands out is the environment is so lively.
