Sacramento Jet Center

Event: Luxe for life- support the Sacramento Children's homes
This event was hosted at this center. I didn't expect it to be in an airport, but it was amazing! They sure made an indoor airplane garage look fabulous!

The airport is a small one. It may be for private use. There is a big parking lot outside and a restaurant near by.

I had to use the Jet Center after diverting to Sacramento to avoid a storm in the Bay Area. They were super friendly, fuelled the plane, kept it on the ramp, and when I decided to stay a night, they organized a hotel and transportation for me. Their crew lounge is spacious and has everything you could want, and the staff very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

Frequent the Mather location often. Operation is great both ramp side and CSR. Does have a vending area (Could use update. Dark and dreary) and comfortable lounge. Has two snooze rooms, one with a futon. Pilot lounge has comfortable chairs, but couch is VERY dirty.

Has Hertz onsite, but call ahead to make sure they are there.

Only one "real" complaint, but for those of us that travel as much as we do...the internet is SLOW and they block web sites. I am a gun collector and like to visit "weapons" sites. These are blocked. I had to chuckle to myself...I just chocked an aircraft worth tens of millions of dollars and flew very high profile pax, but I have mom and dad telling me what I can watch. Really?! Each time I come here and have that "Web Page Blocked" flash across the page, I wish there was a second choice on the field....
