My wife and decided to try this place. Located in a shopping center, however when you walk in you feel like you were transformed into another world. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. The staff were friendly and very catering. The food was from out of this world. Honestly it's very affordable.
Good food, good service and affordable . You can't go wrong. They also have a nice stage where they have live entertainment.
We will comeback . The owner is hands on

Thai Terrace is my new favorite spot for Thai food in the Arden area! I have been there 3 times already and have brought two of my friends as well to experience their dishes, and both of them loved their food.
In this economy, finding a lunch special that is affordable AND fills you up is uncommon. Thankfully, Thai Terrace fills that void.
For less than $15 (if you order the standard meats like chicken or pork), you get an amazingly large portion of your entree + a soup and salad (which are a pretty good size too).
Aside from the Panang curry lunch special, I have not been able to finish my entrees (Thai Terrace noodle and basil fried rice), and neither could my friends--one of them got the drunken noodles while the other got the cashew nut chicken. As leftovers, the food holds up well too.
The flavors of all the dishes were bold and inviting, exactly what I look for when I want Thai food. It's a party of flavor on your tongue, and one of my friends mentioned that this was the best drunken noodles she's had. I absolutely enjoyed the Panang curry--while it might look small in the photo, it was stuffed with chicken and veggies without compromising the richness of the curry itself.
The drinks are also large for only $5 and not watered down at all. I loved the strawberry lemonade, it was incredibly refreshing. The Thai tea was strong and bold, and the Thai coffee was dark and rich.
The service has been consistently friendly, attentive, and fast, and the interior is spacious and quiet. I've sat at a booth for all three times I've been and it is very comfy.
If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to have a good meal on a weekday, do not sleep on Thai Terrace. It is so worth it for the lunch specials and get yourself a drink as well!
Of course, the entrees from the main menu are pricier, but from what I've had for the lunch specials, the quality of the food is great and the flavors are on point.
I can't wait to come back and try other lunch special options. There are so many dishes to choose from and you can't go wrong with any selection!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 9 Sept 2024Updated review2 check-ins
When we entered the restaurant there were just two tables. We got seated right away. Our server was friendly and quickly took our order. We ordered the combination appetizer and the Thai terrace noodle medium spicy. The noodle dish was good and a very good portion. The appetizer had chicken satay, shrimp wrapped in some sort of egg roll wrap. Thai egg rolls and batter fried veggies (sweet potato, regular potato, broccoli, onion and zucchini). The chicken was still moist and the peanut sauce was great. The egg rolls were stuffed and fried crisp-nothing soggy. The batter fried veggies were battered on the heavy side of medium, but were not soggy. It seems to be a Thai style of tempura. It was good and the amount of items on this appetizer plate was more than enough for two Glad that we ordered it.

Our server was friendly. We ordered the Thai terrace noodles, fried tofu and Thai dumplings. The noodle dish was medium spicy which was perfect. Lots of basil (yum) The fried tofu came with a yummy sauce. The Thai dumplings was flavorful and had a type of soy dipping sauce. The size of the entre was definitely enough for two people. Definitely want to come here again to try some more items. (Forgot to get pictures :(

The food was delicious! We had the drunken noodle, crab fried rice, and panang curry. The service was great, their staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was a bit upscale but is can still be casual. Overall great food and service all around. Would recommend.

4.5/5: Both the dishes were amazingly tasty, and the portion size was decent. We end up getting ginger rice with our coconut eggplant and garlic fish and the dishes itself are popping in flavor so barely tasted the ginger in rice. But when you eat the rice by itself, it had a tame ginger flavor and the rice was pillowery.

Stumbled upon this place because it's a little hidden in the corner of the shopping center. It's flavor galore . We went on a weekday so it wasn't too busy so service was good and quick. Inside is well decorated and clean. They have lots of curry options which I will come back to try. Drunken noodles were delicious. My favorite was the Terrace Fried Rice with shrimp and chicken . Full of flavor and they have 3 types of hot sauce if you are feeling more spicy

Thai terrace is a hidden Thai Food gem in the Arden area! In combo with the tasty food, the restaurant's open seating, interior setup, and place settings give everything a polished, fancier feel.
I had a chance to try:
- Coconut soup (seafood): 5/5! Perfect ratio of tangy & sweet. Coconut doesn't overpower the dish, which is a plus for me.
- Purple Heart eggplant dish: 5/5! The red curry base has a balanced kick to it & eggplants were perfectly cooked.
- Papaya salad: 4/5.
- Pad Thai: 3/5, maybe my least favorite of the night because it was on the wet side, the meat was a little chewy, and overall a bit different than pad thais I've liked before.
Overall, would return & recommend this spot if you're looking for Thai in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 11 Aug 2024
Hidden gem of a place! Came around Sunday evening and I thought it would be a little more packed but was kind of slow. Menu had a vast variety of selections and there's something for everyone. Very quiet and well decorated on the inside. They also have live music some days. Definitely a new favorite. Food comes out fresh and full of flavor!

Came here on a late dinner, was craving some Thai food so I decided to give this place a try. This place is a hidden gem on Howe avenue/ arden area. Let me tell you that it actually exceeded my expectations than I anticipated.
The inside is very well lit, with a lot of nice decor that represents the Thai culture very well.
I ordered, phad Thai, Thai tea, chicken skewers and papaya salad.
The food was pretty good! The papaya salad wasn't too bad but wasn't like to die for. They give really good portion sizes as well. I usually like my Thai tea on the more sweet side so I will have to give the Thai tea a 6/10 but over all the food was good and I will be back!Helpful 5Thanks 3Love this 2Oh no 0
