The Works Gym

I was going to Works gym for 6 months. Ed is always there in the morning with a positive attitude. All the gym members there are serious about fitness. Best part is that it's not ever truly crowded. I love that I can go there, take care of business and leave.

Unfortunately, I moved away and no longer use Works. My current gym is overpacked, people don't re-rack their weights, and it feel like everyone is wearing outfits ready to go out clubbing.

Man I miss this gym!

I'm in town for the weekend and i seen this gym had a one of the highest ratings. When I went it wasn't too busy and there was plenty of space to workout. Not a long wait or any wait for the machines, and friendly people and front desk staff! will go back when i come to town again

Absolutely love this gym, really grateful to have found it. Has all the equipment you need but what sold me is the basketball court. John was super nice at the front desk, bathroom was clean, and all the plates are put up which is a nice change from what I'm use to at other gyms. Very excited for this to be my home gym!

This is my home gym. When I say this is my home gym, it's because I live less than 10 min away and it is by far the best gym in the area. The Staff is great, along with the overall cleanliness of the gym. Oh, and if you want to do outdoor activities, they got that too. The works made the adjustment of moving from LA to the IE easy. I'm grateful.

I can't say enough good things about The Works. I have been coming here for years recommend it to anyone living in the area. The membership fees are very reasonable and the vibe is great. Everyone is very down to earth and it feels like you are part of a family.

I almost don't want to give this place such a high review, because this place is the best gym I've been to & I almost want it to stay a secret!!

After being a member at gold's gym, 24 hr fitness, LA Fitness, planet fitness, crunch fitness, and checking out others like chuze fitness, retro fitness, and using my school's gym, I have finally found a place that is always neat and tidy, where people are respectful of others and clean up after themselves, and more importantly, is not packed to the brim with people.

they have a policy of re-racking their own weights, because if you can take it off the rack, you're strong enough to put it back. At this gym, there's no problem with me running around looking for dumbbells or weights because they're always tidy and in their respective places.

They have prepaid prices, contract pricing all on their website, so you don't have to haggle like at al the other gyms. I appreciated the honesty and straightforwardness of that. I think I've met the owner and another employee so far, and they were welcoming and helpful when my boyfriend and I signed up for a trial pass, and when we wanted to purchase memberships.

Parking is always easy to find, there's a large shared lot in this plaza.

For equipment, they have everything you need and then some. Besides the typical machines and benches, they have also cycling machines, cardio equipment, a grass area for warming up, stretching, and other exercises, with kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, exercise balls, and differing weighted barbells. There's a bar along the wall that allows you to do assisted pull ups, or use the straps provided for other workouts. There's a deadlifting area, squat racks, different sized barbell bars, and a lot of equipment that I haven't ever used or seen before this place! (P.S. chalk provided!) they also have an outside area that has various workout equipment like tires.

It's all red and black equipment & honestly it looks like a "meat head" gym.

The cleaner sprays and paper towels are always full and filled. The restroom is clean and stocked. There are lockers and a shower in the women's restroom.

It has been such a long time since I have been able to get my workouts done within the hour. I actually look forward to going, even if its 5pm on a weekday. For fellow respectful gym goers that go to Gold's, 24, or LA fitness, you need to try this place!

To me, this gym is a bit more old Skool, but I F*#%king love it. Nothing beats the sound of a couple metal plates clanking each other. Music to my ears.


After trying multiple gyms for my powerlifting needs, I finally found a place where I feel right at home, and a place where I'll be for a very long time. 7 of our friends moved here and it was well worth the change. I can't wait to see what this place has in store for the future.!

I came here with a couple of friends for their yelp check in offer. They have a free one day pass if you are new to the gym. The gym I would have to say it is really beautiful. The lighting is dimmed and I would say romantic. I would honestly take my first date here to workout and actually eat here haha.

The one thing they need to fix is probably circulation. They do not have air conditioning so they just open the garage door for some ventilation. The people here are pretty nice, but their gym pass seems a bit off a rip-off. 40 dollars a month seems tooo expensive for me. One of the sales person told me that, that was the deal of the day.

I'm already paying 20 a month at golds gym with many amenities. I am not sure that 40 a month is a good offer haha. However the manager seems like a nice guy. He's not too pushy or trying to scam anyone.


It's a great place for a new person to join. I highly recommend this place. There is not a lot of people and the gym equipment are almost brand new.

Best gym I've been to in a long, long time. Equipment is awesome, staff is kind, and fellow members are considerate. It's great to walk in knowing that the people around you are putting in work so you might as well match the effort! Besides, you took the time to drive there, right?

The business owner (CT) is super helpful and attentive to anything that needs repairs/improvements. I must agree a few others about the double-edged sword this place has become: On one hand, I want this establishment to be a tremendous success for the family that owns it. On the other hand I'd hate to see it get super packed with ego lifters and wannabe Instagram models, haha. But I digress.

This gym is simply fantastic and you'd be hard pressed to find a better one in the area. So sign up - you'll be glad that you did! Just be sure to re-rack your weights and wipe stuff down :).
