Very good food. Some items can be a little spicy and the pork belly was quite fatty but all around very good food and vibe of the restaurant

Everything is wonderful here. Beautifully authentic family run restaurant. Food, service and vibe is great. Best restaurant in Vic as far as I'm concerned.

Get some dishwater, whisper the word "chicken" from the other room, scrape a few leftover random cuttings of whatever flavorless things are left on your cutting board from earler making sure there is no seasoning in the vicinity and not enough of anything to add texture or taste, then add cooked noodles. Congratulations! You have just made a perfect facsimile of Crossing the bridge. I literally wouldn't eat this if it were free. Total waste.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1317511 Apr 2024
Was craving comfort food and decided on Little Yunnan based on the reviews. Coming in around 3pm on a Tuesday, the restaurant was not busy, with one large family seated toward the back. The restaurant is in an older building with a decent sized seating area.
Our server was exceptional, she was very helpful with describing the various dishes to us and brought out the food and drinks quickly.
If you're looking for "Panda Express" or "Famous Wok" style food, this restaurant is probably not for you. The flavors are very authentic, nothing like we get at chain restaurants. We ordered the simmered pork belly, spicy wontons, a cup of the broth- which was highly recommended -and two sides of rice. The pork was good, but slightly tough, you could taste five spice and the sauce was not salty, but still packed good flavor. The broth was reminiscent of pho, but more mild in flavor and delicious with the added fresh spring onion. The spicy wontons were spectacular! The chili oil had a numbing effect, and the flavor of the wontons was good.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking to try a different and authentic style of Chinese cuisine. The service is friendly, the food is tasty, and they bring out your dishes quickly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael M.Delta, Canada01518 Aug 2024
Great little spot in Chinatown for soup and dumplings. Clean and quick with excellent service.

The meat on the chicken wings and pork ribs fell off the meat so easily as I bit into it. The broth in the signature beef crossing the bridge noodle dish was surprisingly light and inviting. The deep fried fungi was interesting and delicious though I wouldn't have guessed it was fungi, and the spicy kelp was deliciously savory. As interesting as the dishes were, I would've liked rice to soak up the sauces especially from the chicken wings and ribs.

A lovely restaurant in Chinatown! I got their classic dish, and it was lovely. It was pretty unique, where they give you a deconstructed soup and you add in all the ingredients yourself. It felt very homey, and the food was so satisfying and really felt homemade. The service was great, one waitress was running the whole floor which was very impressive. Overall a fresh and homey experience!

Came cuz of reviews but wasn't thrilled. It was okay. The restaurant dining area was fairly clean but they need to print some new menus and use some new sheet protectors. I felt like I needed to wash my hands after touching the menus. Service was nice and friendly. If this is top 10 Asian restaurant on Victoria, it's probably best to skip Asian food. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing was super yummy for us.

Crossing bridge noodles are good - broth is kind of bland but add salt, pepper, and chili oil for a kick. I love they offer cold dishes in smaller portions so we got to try a variety of things. Tofu and dry beef stood out the most to me but everything is quite amazing and authentic to be honest. We also tried both the sweet pastry and the one with ham. Enjoyed both.
