This garage is GREAT! It's a little hard to find, but worth it. $9 bucks for 4 hours on a Thursday evening! So cheap, and centrally located. There's an attendant, it's clean, and feels very safe. They close at, 8 or 9pm, but if you come later, you will just pick up your keys from the front desk in the building it's in, around the corner on 2nd St. I park here when I play music at Salesforce Park cause it's right across the street from one of the elevators. So convenient!

This is the entrance on Minna St, across from Salesforce Park.

The 101 Second Street Garage is excellent, but hard-to-find. So why do you want to find it? Cheap parking!

Here's the dealio: $17.50 all day, $7 up to four hours, or $1.75 for one hour. You can find a $15 all-day lot nearby, but as far as I know, there's no cheaper place to park for half-a-day. Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm. I think the rates are so cheap, because it's hard to find...

How to find it: Get onto Minna Street between First and Second Streets. Minna is one-way alley, heading from 1st to 2nd, so it's slightly tricky. Easiest to head south on 1st Street and make the right onto Minna just after Mission St. Just past the Harlot club, there's a sign for parking at 555 Mission...skip it. Next to that driveway is the entrance for 101 Second Street. Drive in and the valet is just around the corner, jackpot!

Rates went up a bit. Weekdays $2 per hour, $8 for 1-4 hours, and $20 all day. This is still a good deal for 4 hours. Very friendly valet attendant and easily accessible. Follow Ted's directions above!

Entry is tough due to construction and all-day is $24 now (still cheaper than the $25 next door at 555), but I appreciated that they place the cars based on when you think you'll pick yours up - ours was just waiting and available a few steps from the cashier when we went to pick it up, which is the main reason I don't like valet. So extra win for that!

The directions were great, but the garage is not 24-hour. However, the attendants did try to be helpful if suggesting other garages, such as the Hearst Parking Garage on 3rd b/w Mission and Market, which is where we ended up. $23 for overnight.
