Great job. Called last minute and they were able to accommodate some time right before they closed and had my smog check done in less than 15 mins.

You know it's hard to find a real trustworthy mechanic or a body shop, whether you're a male or female, especially when you are a female because they like to take advantage.

I already got taken advantage of at one place that wanted $1,500 for something to fix when it wasn't even broken. So, I took it to 19th Avenue 76 Gas Station and spoke to Joe, who actually knew me from my other car from 20 years ago. Joe has helped me out through the years of little minor stuff. When I told him the issue of what happened, he said, "No problem, I worked with all car insurance especially AAA."

So, I left it in his hands. And 28 days later, the only reason why it took longer is because he had to take it to the body shop due to the damage of my car. He also found other things that happened because of the accident that I didn't know and took care of it. So, if you ever want to take your car for any kind of mechanic, take it to Joe. You could trust him. He's fair in the prices and he will work with you, whether you have insurance or no insurance to fix your car. And I want to thank him for working hard with my insurance getting my car fixed like new, and I am so happy if there was a 10, I'd give them 10 stars, but since I can't, he gets a 5 star rating, but personally because there isn't a 10 star.

One of the things I like about this gas station is it's like old school where they pump your gas. Who does that nowadays? Very humble, very nice, very trustworthy, respectful business. It's very personal, and I like that. It will keep you up to date on anything you need done with your car. (THANK YOU JOE!) :)

No frills smog check.

Drove in with no appointment and was serviced in less than 20 minutes. They also give coupons which is a nice little touch considering how expensive mechanical work *can* be.

The only gripe I have is that you definitely need to wipe down your steering wheel and anything you think the mechanic may have touched. I didn't have anything handy at the time and found my hands blackened even after a short drive home to retrieve some clorox wipes.

Best place in the world and nothing makes my day better than coming here. I always leave smiling before I go home to those monster's I call brats instead of kids these days.

Super convenient gas station on 19th Ave. with professional staff and the best price on diesel in the area.

Cheapest smog ($38 WITH certificate) in the city!

Pay double or more if price is no object, I myself am on a budget and 19th Avenue 76 is the best smog service at *half the price and gets it done in half the time.

Despite the station looking very busy, I was out in under 20 minutes.

I know this gas/service station well as my lil boy attended Wah Mei preschool across the street for 2 years. Even after my son graduated and I live across town, I head to 19th Avenue 76 for a smog and small mechanical repairs to my Beemer.

Prices are fair and service is fast. I trust Joe; he's a good guy.

My only complaint is your wheel might get a bit sticky from the mechanic's hands - there are no fussy booties or paper floor mats during your service.

But, a quick wipe to clean up and you're on your way, saving a whole lot of $$ to boot. To me, that's worth it.

Come here to gas up and they'll fill your tank, full service at self-service prices. Their service is top-notch and always friendly.

Horrible service. The guy in front desk 7 .30pm oct 28 2017 . Told me restroom out of order at same time a man turned in key to bathroom. Worker said I need to be customer. I filled up gas like I always do. Pee and gas up. He is so rude. And is it cuz I'm a woman or what. I just dont know. The man who turned in key was not a customer. I was profiled or what? RUDE lier

It is the year 2014. My Toyota Camry 2007 Hybrid had experienced an oil leak and severe braking failure. My intention was to take it to directly to the Toyota service station on Geary... But then a friend of mine refered me to see this station before spending 2-3 times as much on service and repairs. I kept my reserves about this place when I first arrived. I was a bit distrusting "generally of all mechanics" because they like to make customers pay for things that are unnecessary just to make more money.

But I was wrong. When I came inside i was greeted sternly by Adel (Head Mechanic) of the station. I told him im looking for a quote to repair the vehicle and was thinking of going to the service station at Toyota.. His first response was "They will over price you, im here to help you my friend for a good price". I was for sure thinking " yeah that's what they all say".... But again i was wrong. After being sternly scolded at for going to Toyota to get ripped off more (which is what happened)... He said straight up "You dont have to come here go find out and then call me but dont come back here until you show me the Toyota quote."
And that's what i did. His price was far better. It was 3,798$ to replace my brake set ALONE. His price haha haha well it was around 1,600 with free inspection.

Fast forward today...its the year 2018. I bought a used car a Ford Taurus 2000. A thousand mechanical issues were wrong but he made one thing quite clear ...." To spend what is necessary for it to drive safely, not the extras". "Anthony i want to help you the best way i can and not have you spend to much." Honestly he revived this used craigslist car that was nearing the end of its life. But now it has more than 5 years on it to go.

To everyone at this service station, thank you for being honest, for being efficient, for being fast, for being fair and most importantly for always focusing on the safety of my vehicle. No matter where i am, out of city, i will always come to you guys and wont betray. Everyone who reads this review trust me at the least... They arent there to rip you off, they genuinely are there to make sure you dont spend over what dealerships would make you pay for.

Whenever you do go ask for Adel. He always will be straightforward with you and honest. Thank you Adel for all of your hard work and service.

I am SO sad to do this, but this gas station went downhill and there is now no reason for me to go out of my way to come here. You used to get GREAT customer service her-- I mean the kind that warranted a trip across the park. Something happened, it's different. Maybe new management? Yes, it has fancy lighting at night, now, but I'd take that home-town-old-school customer service over a few new lights any 'ole day! The Thursday service is gone of having an attendant do a complimentary check of your air and fluids! The attendant now will only take your money, but will offer no additional service. I misss my old spot. VERY SAD DAY. Goodbye, old favorite gas station!


I've never rated a gas station, but this place deserves the 5 stars. I moved to the Marina (I know, insert eye roll) and I still drive over here for gas. Best cash prices, but I don't come here because of price. These people are top notch! They will pump gas for you, a la full-service style! They have checked my fluids and air for free and done it with a great attitude, not like oh dear, another girl with a BMW who doesn't know what she's doing! LOVE this place and these attendants! Thanks for already treating me with kindness and not put, as just another girl with car questions!

Cheaper than other gas stations in the area, has full service available, and open late - what's not to like?!

It can be a little awkward getting in and out of the parking lot for this business, and they don't have much of a convenience store, but they do inexpensive smog checks and the guys who work here are polite.

There. I've actually reviewed a gas station. I'm thoroughly proud of myself :)
