From start to finish, 1DayWall did a wonderful job installing a wall in my daughter's new apartment. They were very professional, did a high quality job at a great value, and Vince is incredibly nice to work with! If you need a temporary wall, this is the place to get it. Highly recommend!

In researching companies to do my wall I came across 1-day wall, while initially it was disappointing that they only accept cash or certified checks while the yelp add says credit card accepted, they are willing to work with you and accept Zelle. The payment upfront policy with Zelle did not make me feel good and Vince called and was willing to accept 50% up front and even provided a discount if I decided to work with them. Not every business owner takes the time to call prospective customers. I highly appreciate it and it left me with a good impression of the work they would do. Thank you Vince

If I could give them 0 stars I would... scammers. And they have a deal going with Rockrose the two of them are in cahoots. They made a huge mess in my apartment and got it so dirty. Claimed the had covers for furniture and showed up with nothing. If there was stuff in the way of where they needed to work the employees just throw it somewhere with no consideration or care. Wish I could get my $3100 back for a ply wall that did nothing.

Wish I could give 6 stars, 1DayWall/Vince's team is reliable, cost efficient, and fast -- not to mention super respectful too.
TLDR: if you're in a sticky situation in terms of pricing/timing/decision making -- reach out to 1DayWall!

My roommate and I were in talks with another company for flex wall construction but due to miscommunication, ended up with a really expensive quote for the L shaped wall we wanted. We were scrambling because we were already moved in but didn't have one of our rooms built. I reached out to many companies over the weekend to request quotes and emphasized urgency in my request. Vince got back to me super quickly with a CLEAR quote, making it easy for me to see any potential charges/additional expenses, and he gave us a July discount. This quote ended up being $500 less than the original company.
Not to mention, he was able to shift his schedule and send his team over on Tuesday (first communicated on Sunday). The team got it done in 4 hours and it looks so nice and new.

This company provided a great experience from start to finish. The owner, Vince was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions during the booking process. The people that put up my wall were efficient and assisted with the measurements and gave the BEST suggestions. The wall blends in perfectly with the apartment. I would recommend this company 100% Thank you guys!!!

After striking out with contractors to build a wall to create nursery space in our apartment we were on a tight timeline and had all manner of co-op paperwork to wade through to get a wall in a short amount of time. Vince was very responsive, provided lots of up front information and transparency around pricing, and was flexible when it came time to finally schedule the job.

It was surreal--went to work and came back to a wall! The French door and top window made it look especially nice. Glad we opted for the seamless finish, you'd never know the wall is temporary! The soundproofing we signed on for is also excellent.

I appreciated that I returned to my home just as I left it--there was no real dust or debris in sight, just a slight paint smell (to be expected) but nothing bad.

Overall really pleased and grateful to Vince and the 1DayWall folks and would highly recommend!

One Day Wall exceeded my expectations with a beautiful wall and French doors. The friendly team made the experience enjoyable, completing the project efficiently in just one day. Highly recommended for top-notch craftsmanship.

Vincent and team are AMAZING! Not only were they easy to work with, they were quick to respond and build our nursery in our 1 bedroom apartment! Within a week of contacting 1daywall, we were scheduled and the work was completed in one day within 6 or so hours. They were able to accommodate all of our special requests (ie cutting part of the wall to get access to additional space). The quality of the wall was also top notch, they added moldings, did a beautiful job painting and added a vent for air circulation. Could not recommend more!

We had a very positive experience with 1DayWall.  We reached out via email and received a response almost immediately from the owner.   We requested (insisted on, perhaps) an on-site visit- which we understand is not the norm- and he made this happen and showed up on time!


We were under extraordinary circumstances with a very limited timeframe in which to complete the entire scope of what we needed and we were pleasantly surprised that 1DayWall arranged for, procured the materials for, and completed both a wall and a proper closet that same week, effectively converting our loft-style studio into a proper 1 bedroom.


1DayWall helped us order a custom door, which was delivered about a week ahead of schedule and even though the plan called for a barn door, we changed our mind and decided it should be a pocket door instead- with no acrimony or haggling for it to happen. 


The end result is truly that what was a large studio for 17 years was transformed  overnight into a one bedroom apartment and the promise of what we imagined when we purchased almost two decades ago was finally fulfilled.


There was an element of humanity and understanding rarely present (at least in our experience) throughout the oft-terrible NYC contractor experience- we got what we asked for and then some- including fulfilling several unplanned changes and fixing what we perceived as issues without a lot of heartache. 


It is as a refreshing change to have the owner of a contracting business actually check in on the progress of his crew (we are realistic in our expectations that the owner will not be at the job site 24/7, but he did make his presence and interest in our satisfaction well known).  Having done various construction projects over a couple of decades in NYC, this is an experience worth noting.  Highly recommended.
