Came in the sauna for the first time and it smelled like bleach and not disgusting BO. Freshly cleaned by the young lady and I'm sure we all appreciate her very much for her efforts.

The gym is filthy! The treadmills need to be replaced! Most do not work properly or make loud noises. Rust and mold in bathrooms.

The ab coaster is gone! This piece of equipment was out of order and now it is just gone, they don't replace equipment now?

It truly seems like nobody is running this gym and it is clear whoever is does not care.

If you see the video, you'll notice the young gentleman working out without shirts. A classic example of lack of gym etiquette. I did go up to the front desk person after filming this video. The young lady did nothing about it. She just proceeded to look at her phone for the rest of the evening. This happened around 11:30 PM, when the stuff starts going down.
I did get an email inquiry from 24 Hour. Fitness and I responded to their inquiry of how I thought the gym was doing. I laid it all down and I did get a phone call from the manager who said she's trying to deal with this stuff. I'm sure she is-and I have seen someone cleaning since which was very nice. They are understaffed and the men's locker room tends to be particularly nasty. I have not gone into the ladies locker room, nor will I.

An example where people do not follow, gym etiquette rules. These young gentlemen proceeded to take their shirts off flex & work out.
A toilet that has not been cleaned in a few days.

I had six hours to kill while my teen attended a day sports camp at Sonoma State. I know my way around a gym, so I was looking forward to spending at least three hours of me time while I waited for my daughter. I put my bag away in the lockers and the women's locker room made my skin crawl. It made me question the entire gym. Three out of four soap dispensers were empty at the sinks, the floors were disgusting, mold and hair in every shower stall. I did an hour of cardio, showered, and left. This was around 10 a.m. on a Monday morning. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the cleaning person was scheduled for later in the day, but I doubt it.

I've given this feedback directly to the management, and that hasn't worked, so I guess it's time to do it here. First of all, I love this gym. It's big, great amenities, etc. I live about 20 miles away, and I drive to it because I like it so much. I particularly like the community of members. Overall it's great. BUT...the way it is run is atrocious!! There is a wonderful woman who cleans there and does her very best (better than she should be able to do), but it's just not enough. She can't be expected to keep the whole place clean. And sadly...it is not. I can't speak to the women's facilities, but the men's locker room is disgusting! Dirty, moldy, trash, lint-covered vents, it's just gross. It feels like they clean it every few days, and with the number of members, it's not sufficient or acceptable. Furthermore, the amenities part of the gym, which many of us joined to use, is poorly "maintained." Saying it's maintained is very generous. Something is always broken, filthy, or only partially working...it's really bad. The sauna had not been hot, like it always had been, for months. The steam room has been down "closed for maintenance" for over a month. The management actively avoids those of us who actually bring these issues to their attention. It's not right, and it's not ok. I get it, 24 Hour Fitness filed for bankruptcy protection, but they still have paying members to serve, and they need to meet their expectations. "The average 24 Hour Fitness executive compensation is $235,955 a year. The median estimated compensation for executives at 24 Hour Fitness, including base salary and bonus, is $235,072, or $113 per hour. At 24 Hour Fitness, the most compensated executive makes $700,000, annually." Maybe they shouldn't be making such big money if they can't keep their product above board. Just another example of corporate America getting rich on the back of their customers, and treating their customers poorly to make ends meet. I've paid up for almost 2 years, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I understand that the employees on the ground have very little to do with policy and procedure, so they can't be fully blamed, but they can at least show some empathy rather than trying to avoid or smile away anything unpleasant. Do better, 24 Hour Fitness.

Shoud say "CLOSED FOR ... EVER"

All air vents in the women's locker and shower area has mold on them! I've asked management 3 times to clean them as I'm super mold sensitive and I can literally it in my body and have a physical reaction. They claim they looked at it and determined it was "lint". I'm looking around at other gyms showers and in the mean time, have reported and sent these to the Sonoma County Health Department. I just renewed my annual membership last Friday and am considering asking for a full refund as it's a breach in contract in their end. I find this very lazy of the management and not a caring and safe environment to be in. The picture is over the handicap shower I use. I literally don't work out and only go there to shower. This has happened in the past but this time the request wasn't fulfilled on with no big deal or no resistance from management. This is completely unacceptable for the health of every single person who showers in the women's locker room!

The website for the Rohnert park location has right there big and bold a "free 3 day pass". So I got one, got the confirmation number and everything. Finally got my ass in gear enough to go check it out, got there about 5am on a Saturday, walked up to the counter with my confirmation email, AND WAS DENIED. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT HONOR THE 3 DAY PASS THEIR WEBSITE OFFERS. THATS RIGHT, ITS NO GOOD AT THE RP LOCATION. he told me Petaluma or Santa Rosa. 24hour fitness just lost a customer. Tsk tsk. Bad business.

Love this gym. Always clean, big layout, outside pool, cycle room and group X are always open and have classes. Just overall great. Yes will get packed around the time everyone gets off work but before and after it's perfect.

I love that it is one of the few gyms that is 24 hours, but the one major thing that I need more security. A significant fix would be for gym members to use a key fob like other gyms for entry. So many questionable people have walked into the gym where no one is at the front desk. From what I hear, the staff allows gym members to squat in the parking lot and occasionally stay overnight, which makes parking extremely hard. I have skipped working out at this facility because of a simple parking issue. In addition, some of the people here are very disrespectful and confrontational at random things. Observing a gym member scream at a security professional to the point where he had to lock himself in his truck was something I wish I didn't have to witness at around 4 am.
