4 MILE BREWING

Great place for a relaxing beer, dinner or lunch. I love the garden around it. The service is great and food is excellent. I ordered the chicken wings and it was perfectly done to my standard. My partner ordered the Forbidden Delight. It sure was a real delight to behold and savour.
We came back again this year for my partner's 70th birthday. Forbidden Delight is what she ordered again. The service is superb. They even gave us a complimentary desert for the birthday girl. I certainly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Saturday, late afternoon, and we stopped for a drink in the pub. Service was excellent. It was so excellent and friendly that we decided to indulge in the mussels. They were very, very good. Crusty bread accompanied the bowl that was filled with a broth of tomatoes, garlic and onions. Wish we took a picture but we were too busy eating!

Best wings I've had in Victoria hands down! Really nice place, reminds me of an old English pub.

The staff was amazing, but, the food was perfect!
Roasted veg, tender steak, crisp fries, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, garlic mashed that were not drowning in cream!
Our food arrived hot and there was little wait with the place almost packed.
You have got to try this place be it beer or grub. I know you will not be sorry!

We are staying at a vacation cottage nearby, and we did not want to drive back into Victoria tonight. This place was nearby and our hosts recommended it. The lot was packed when we arrived, and the dining room was full, but they gave us a little two top next to a fireplace, right inside the door. The service was friendly, if a bit leisurely, and the food was good. I ordered the soup of the day, which was a beef vegetable; it was delicious, like pot roast in broth. My husband ordered the French Dip sandwich, which was a huge portion. I had the shrimp stuffed avocado. An all around tasty meal, and the building is lovely.

Yelp led us here and we're happy we followed the reviews! What a great spot. We decided to eat downstairs in the sports bar, it was a little quieter and had the Oilers game on. Mid afternoon with a chill in the air made the choice of roast beef dinners an easy one.

Delicious. All of it. Good beer. Yummy mashed potatoes and gravy, finished with coffee and lovely atmosphere. So happy we made the decision to stop on our way into the city.

Went for a late lunch at 4 Mile Pub in View Royal this past Friday.

The pub is lovely on a nice summer's day. People go there for the beer.

As for the food, we don't recommend going there. Our reuben sandwich was very greasy. Oily. Not very good.

The server, Lynette, was very nice.

Unfortunately, though, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Since we love great food, we won't be going back to this establishment. The food is not very good. Disappointing.

THE absolute best hot wings deal I have found in Victoria is at the 4 Mile during happy hour. Not only TASTY and perfect but largest quantity I have found anywhere. It is now my "go to" place to get my hot wings "fix". Also super friendly service and great atmosphere.

Had lunch there today and it was good. But the setvice was medicore. it sure was not worth the suggested tip suggeted of 18, 20 or 25 %. Where do you believe in these values for medicore service?

Had a halibut burger and my husband had the chorizo burger.

They were both fabulous . My halibut was fresh and my husband said his chorizo burger was one of the best he's ever had.

Excellent service.

Don't go with kids for snacks and a drink. You get herded into the resto downstairs where service is incredibly slow. Had this experience twice. Sitting 20 mins or more before a single drink served and only moderately busy.

They need a better system with bartending help downstairs.

It's fine however if you go with adults only and can sit in the bar area. Service decent and better atmosphere. Happy hour drinks are cheap but the food price just okay since it's a smaller portion for happy hour.

Payment machine was set for an 18% tip default. No thanks on this visit.
