50/50 Xtreme Auto Glass™

Had a smooth experience with 50/50 after the regulator broke in my window. I was promptly quoted, and they quickly got the replacement parts in stock so I didn't have to drive around with the window stuck for too long. They started working on it right when I arrived and got me in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. I hope I don't need more auto glass services (fingers crossed emoji) but would definitely go back if there was a need. Very professionally run shop and no sales pressures.

Highly recommend if you're looking to have your windshield replaced. They worked with my insurance. Staff are super professional and did an excellent job. "Blinky" was very friendly, helpful, informative, and patient.

The best and most reliable, fast service we've been to for Auto Glass services, getting a new windshield and passenger side glass, for our van and our son's SUV, very affordable price. After we had ours done, we have been recommending them to friends and family. My son cannot believe that he can have his passenger side glass done the next morning after his car was broken into in SF, he doesn't have to wait for the other auto glass company that he called and he even saved his money from the previous quote given by the other company. Owner and people who work here are trustworthy, keep it up, job well done!

I've had two windshields replaced at this shop. Both times have been outstanding. They are very attentive to customers needs and communicated often with me regarding status.

Awesome experience despite unfortunate windshield damage.

I requested a quote on Yelp to get a chip fixed on my front windshield. It was a quick and it easy to make my appointment, and I was provided information regarding the upcoming process. On the day-of, it was also quick and I noticed it was quality work as well. The manager Blinky was very informative, kind, and patient. While I wasn't expecting to be babied by my local auto glass repair, I felt very well taken care of and they've eased any worries by answering my many questions. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do. Highly recommend!

2nd time coming here for a chip repair
Quick, friendly, and inexpensive!

Now I don't have to worry about the little chip spreading and cracking my windshield!

I asked for a severely-cracked windshield replacement. The owner gave a very reasonable estimate and explained my '94 Suburban was prone to a characteristic leak in the upper part of the windshield seal. They were very careful to accurately troubleshoot for before removing the old windshield and explained there might be extra work at additional cost to remove any heavy rust damage, and that it might have to be done by a local body shop. Upon removing the old glass they found rather minor surface rust along the upper part of the windshield welt, and that they would take care of it as part of their replacement. There was additional cost for the labor which I don't remember, but it was surprisingly reasonable. They said it appeared the windshield had been previously replaced - it had - and that the painted surface of the welt had been damaged and exposed the bare metal where rusting occurred. They explained some shops hastily remove windshields and rather commonly make this mistake.
I live in WA state and was visiting family in Lafayette. If I ever need another glass replacement, I will bring the job to this shop in Concord. One last thing - they might be changing the name of the business, but the owner is the same. I've worked on my own cars, doing nearly all of my own work since auto shop in the '70s at Acalanes HS. Excellent, excellent work.

Super professional and amazing work. This was the second time I had the windshield on my Highlander SUV replaced and it's now painfully obvious what a poor job the previous company did (big company that is my insurance company's default). So happy I didn't go back to them. 50/50 Xtreme is my new go to place.

When it comes to servicing my cars, I take it very seriously. I learned to just pay the dealership their money as they have the tools and warranty to back it up. However, when doing research for windshield replacement, i discovered that some dealerships outsource this work. Whether it's true or not, I didn't want to take the risk, so I did due diligence on the best installer.

As you can see on the pics attached, the previous installer did a terrible job. He used glue, large screws and wrong parts that ultimately led to rusting underneath.

Adam and team came to the rescue by restoring and grinding the rust underneath and replaced the windshield with proper, professional installation. Adam essentially made it as if it just came from the factory as he also used OEM parts. I appreciated how he was upfront with the type of work and the pricing. It's not cheap, but you get the best, quality service ever so you definitely get what you paid for.

Binky was awesome with coordination and scheduling. Very responsive and follow ups promptly. Customer service is amazing.

Moving forward, I will be using Adam and his team for ANY windshield replacement as the experience was worth every pen
