Nice outdoor space in front of 555 California Street at Kearny Street.
Great for the musicians/bands playing in summertime. Today (8/2/23) a free ice cream sampling on the plaza too. The fresh air, cable cables going by, trees and benches make this public space fun!

It's your basic parking garage but with valet! I wasn't planning on getting valet parking but there were no stops left and the valet was the same price as reg parking.

The valet workers were very nice and professional. I felt my car and myself were safe enough. This garage is very close to my work so it's my go to when I'm in the area.

The garage is usually very packed and sometimes full and the floor is slippery so even going 5 MPH your tires squeak around each turn. I kept going slower and slower before I realized there's no helping it. Not complaining just something I noticed.

Be careful if you're into architecture photography like myself and you feel like taking photos of this place. I was only here for probably 5-10 minutes tops. I got told by building security that I'm not allowed to take photos of the building. That's fine. I've never been hassled the times I photographed TransAmerica Pyramid and the Salesforce Tower and I spent much more time at each location. Both buildings are much more of recognizable landmarks and better in terms of pleasing aesthetics anyway. At least their security wasn't uptight.

Time to review my other home away from besides Costco...work! I spend most of waking hours here, so I suppose it's only fitting.

I've been working here for a year, and the security guards are fairly friendly and polite. They are around 24/7. The concourse was recently remodeled, and now has ample seating. My favorite additions are the comfy, fancy living room type individual chairs and extended sofas that have been added to the lobby. They're inviting enough that people actually use them, as opposed to the black leather seats that used to be there (which were comfy, but not inviting). I wish there was more available street parking in the area, as delivery people have a difficult time finding a spot to leave their car when they bring items to the lobby.

Given that this is the second tallest building in SF, the view (from my office on a floor above 30) is fairly nice. My office faces the city, which is a great view, but I've seen the bay view, and it is awesome!

Building management sometimes host events (mostly the Christmas tree lighting and randomly hands out popsicles during summer) and is fairly communicative to tenants regarding changes in the building (fire alarm testing, elevator testing, etc.). A major downside is that the building's air con system is super old, so it's very, very expensive (we're talking ~$2,000) to get a/c on the weekends. That's a bit high.

I don't even have the words to describe how rude this establishment is. Terrible place. I'd rather work at the Starbucks down the street.

      Avoid at all costs.

Came here for a Microsoft Evenbrite Event. So the directions weren't very clear only stating 555 California. The security and their attitude was no help. After checking in and them entering my CADL in their computer, I was given a slip. When I walked around the other security made sure the strip for real before pointing to the right place.

There's a 30 minute check in to get into the building as a visitor. It's a joke. Hire some people for check in!!

I came to look at an office space that was open for leasing here but we could barely get in the door owing to all the people protesting Trump (I didn't realize he owned the building). Given the current political climate, our desire to make our employees feel welcome, and our own (negative) feelings about the man, we decided to pass. Apart from that, we were worried about bringing clients here.

It's a nice enough building, but it just seems like a business liability we were not prepared to take on.

Everything you could ask for in a busy office building. Easy Uber drop and puck up. Food choices in the bright and cheery basement and friendly security guards throughout, providing a feeling of comfort and safety.

This is a review of the parking garage, or rather the management who run it. Beware! They use the old trick of moving the automatic exit clock ahead by 6 minutes, so if you try to exit 5 minutes before the hour to avoid an additional charge, you will still get dinged. And it is already some of the most expensive parking in the city. If you complain, they tell you tough luck.
