680 Movers

I'm going to break this down by the different stages of customer/business interaction. It may be a little long, but it should give a complete idea of what happened at each point.

First Contact: Excellent. We called and talk to the office manager, who has solid communication skills. She was perfectly happy to answer questions (and sometimes the same question more than once) while we figured out what we needed. She even helped us figure out what would be most cost-effective for our move.

Follow Up: After initial contact, the office manager contacted us again to make sure we were still on-schedule. When there were possible changes to the move date, she responded positively and said that 680 Movers could be flexible.
This required more than a few phone calls, and there was no surliness or irritation, just a desire for clear communication.

Estimate: The 680 Rep showed up on time, was friendly, courteous and professional. The discussion was direct. There was no feeling of sketchiness about the experience (I wasn't nervous or suspicious at all).

Changes: The amount of things to be moved got adjusted. 680 Movers had zero problem with that, wanting only to make sure that they had the right number of people on-site to help us move efficiently.

The Move: Movers arrived a little early. They were friendly and professional. They were careful with our stuff, even the things that were obviously not worth very much. They pointed out damage to items before they moved them, and were careful about protecting things. The move was made with zero problem.

Billing: We paid for the move the day it happened. The charge was exactly as represented by 680 Movers, based on how long it took and how many of their crew were working with us. There were no sudden changes, no last-minute charges, zero jankiness at all.
(I saw another review talking about cash vs. check or credit card; nothing like that happened with us. We paid with credit card, and there were no additional charges or anything strange like that)

Follow Up: 680 Movers followed up immediately after the move to make sure everything unfolded properly. They then followed up again a couple of weeks later to address any concerns we might have had (there were none).

Oddities:
*Did you know that 680 Movers will help you pack? Or even pack for you? That's a big help when things don't go as planned.
*I helped them load things. Most movers get cranky about that sort of thing, but the 680 crew just smiled and rolled with it.

I can't give this company anything less than 5 stars. The experience was flat out the best I've ever had with a moving company, and I strongly recommend 680 Movers to anyone who is planning to move, or even just wants help packing for a move.
I cannot rave enough about the office manager; her helpfulness and responsiveness to repeated phone calls was amazing, and that customer service is what made us choose 680 Movers over all the others.

I've used 680 movers twice now; once in 2018 and again a few weeks ago for small/moderate within-town moves. Good prices, movers started on time and the move itself was on par with their initial estimate. Friendly movers too. Happy with them and will use them again if I need.

We have used 680 movers in the past and had no issues. This time was different. Before the move started, one of the guys asked to use the the bathroom. Obviously, not a problem. He used the bathroom. I went back in there to grab some items and noticed the worker had taken a #2, wiped his booty and threw the poop covered toilet paper in the trash can. There was also packing paper in the bathroom where he wiped his poop covered hands! There was a hand print with s*** on the packing paper!!!
I knew he didn't wash his hands because I had already packed the soap. I let him know if he needed to wash his hands he can use the other sink that still had soap. He did NOT wash his hands.

They moved boxes into the house and there was s*** on the boxes!

I contacted the moving company and they only want to refund me $100. This is crazy! An employee put fecal matter all over my stuff and the only compensation is $100.

BEWARE! This is nasty and POOR customer service! I will NEVER use this company again!

I could not say enough positive things about my experiences.

Probably the hardest working and positive spirited movers I have worked with in my many many many moves. They were on time, and didn't complain 1x in all of the crazy stops we asked them to take!

Everything was done in 7 hours and we had 3 stops! Daniel A n Carlos were the best, I'm so grateful and would use them every time!

We used this company 6 weeks ago and they had our house packed up and ready to move (and I mean everything was taped & packed) in 3hours!
When they arrived at the new house they moved most boxes into the garage AND...they set up our beds and put the furniture where directed!!!

Worst moving experience of my life! They took our stuff and put it in their Storage facility while we waited for the lease to our new property. We never got it back! Beware- do NOT use!

Another move made easy by 680 movers! Alex and his crew did an awesome job. They were quick, careful, and so efficient!

I called these guys on Friday evening, had an appointment for the next Sunday in a few minutes.

They sent two guys and a nice new truck. They were able to back their truck up and use a ramp so that everything could be loaded with dollies. They even picked up these custom dressers I made, which weighed over 500 lbs
each, by themselves.

They had my entire one bedroom house loaded in about an hour. They had my entire house unloaded within a total of three hours.

The guys were super attentive and careful. Nothing was damaged, everything was put in the room/area I had asked/marked on the box.

It ended up costing way less than I thought since their guys were so ridiculously efficient and fast at their jobs. I just put my savings into their tips, since they definitely earned it.

I've moved way too many times in my life. It's always a pain. These guys were by far the best movers I've ever worked with and made things as easy and seamless as they could be. I will never use anyone else.

Best movers ever!!!

The crew is great but scheduling is a nightmare. They were supposed to get back to us because they were saving the morning time slot for a "larger" job, but it's been crickets. Mind you we called weeks in advance so it wasn't like that other job had already been scheduled. We really liked using them a few months ago but they were really wishy washy about committing to a time the first time around. We had to follow up multiple times to make sure we had a time slot confirmed.

Other than that the guys they sent were pros and the pricing was competitive. Wish their scheduling was easier.

This company was affordable and that's about it. I was moving because the house I was renting had mold and my landlords needed to renovate. So they hired these movers to pack and help me move my things into storage. My things were in storage for 8 months. When we finally found a house, and as I was moving things in noticed that lots of things I owned was damaged and or missing. Thousands of dollars of damage. Most importantly some Crystal glassware that I use for holidays is missing, along with my Halloween decorations, and several other personal items. I reached out to the company and their response was shocking. They offered me a goodwill gesture of $100 instead of filing an insurance claim. Your movers destroy/damage/steal things and you offer $100???
Please do not trust this company or it's movers. Not worth it.
