- Mar 27, 2019Updated review
I have decided to write an updated review to this 7-Eleven because I thought people thinks or see 7-Eleven the same way I do
So someone mentioned that 7-Elevens are often related to gas station store. This is not true in the entire world. But this is probably I have been to other 7-Elevens that are not in North America. 7-Eleven in populated cities are really a small convenient grocery store.
Yes this 7-Eleven and almost all 7-Eleven in major cities and around the world that are not located in a remote area is known for their food and snacks.
This 7-Eleven doesn't just serve hot dogs. It also has hot food. Yup hot food for the night owl partiers or night clubers. When I say hot food I mean burgers, Jamaican patties, asian food like noodles, soup, pies, sometimes they have dim sum (limited selection and depends on the time). They used to put chairs and tables outside in the summer time (not sure if they do that anymore)
Yes they also have Slurpees. Slurpees is only available in Canada and USA. Competitor of 7-Eleven are Circle K, Mac, Oxxo and the other small convenient store.
This 7-Eleven is open to serve the neighbors in the hood. Yes they open 24 hours like most 7-Eleven in the world. Vancouver 7-Eleven is like most major cities 7-Eleven. Close to Asia, Europe and Mexico 7-Eleven.
Because of their convenience, their prices are more expensive.
Note there is no gas station linked to 7-Eleven. This 7-Eleven is still not to the same level as the other 7-Eleven outside of North America yet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Jan 16, 2019Previous reviewWe needed to pick up tonic water before the NYE party. We failed because everywhere was closed. We needed to get tonic water and we had in mind 7-Eleven. Yes they were open at that time.
After we made the purchase, we noticed Shoppers was diagonally across the street. Sad.
Well prices here is definitely a bit more pricier than a lot of places like Shoppers or other grocery stores. This is a convenient store so can't expect too much. - DAngelo A.Central, Vancouver, Canada622910Sep 11, 2019
7-Eleven this specific 7-Eleven is on my level. :) #MyStoreMy7Eleven
1st things first, I am picky about what I review and which or whom the review is about. #AvidSilentJudgeJuryExecutioner
2nd thing. So, acknowledging that this is a 7-Eleven (A local corner store) not a big deal right!?,
also not many expectations on the purpose and value and swag right!?
Well, maybe it's the late-night food cravings from studying, the stumble-home-I'm-Wasted-finding-my-keys-front-door-oh-look-a-7Eleven-hmm-hungry scenario craving typical of weekend party binges, perhaps the omg I forgot something from the grocery store for my hot dinner date at my place, whatever the appeal is, I have this nostalgic feeling when I see the trademark 7-Eleven Red/Green/White Colours, like the Golden Arches of McDonald's aka Mickey Dee's or for the dirty people McD!cks haha seriously not kidding.
Back to the review. This specific location is by far (and I have visited LOTS...California, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Ontario, Victoria, etc)
The friendliest, sufficiently staffed, more than 2 workers, typically 4-5 at most times even at 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM They running some kind of operations here, Always Clean, Always stocked and full looking, has way way way more items/products than I expect from a 7-Eleven. (My Favorite: Jamaican Patties, seriously omg drooling) and much much more.
Also, I recently posted "ask me how to get $0.55 Pumpkin Spiced Latte's, Pistachio Cappuccino, and even a Fudge Brownie Mocha...seriously for $0.55" and the phone and emails have not stopped since. #SecretDeals #HushHush
Yes, and it has something to do with 7Eleven. No Joke! Even Freaking Delicious. Like beyond $0.55 CANNOT ARGUE THAT! #ShutUpAndTakeMyMoney
3rd thing, Also the 7Eleven Rewards Program, ---Shut the front door, collect points, exchange for freebies and goodies? What?! and collecting points that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet or purse. (This is where I drop the mic)
#NotEnoughMemesToAddToDisplayMyShockedFace #MyMostPrizedRewardCard
Way too many things to add. #TakeItAndGo #PleaseComeAgain moments between me and 7
Anyways, here's to my hungover, long time waiting for review of the store that I cannot live without.
7-Eleven I salute you.
For those reading this, This 7-Eleven has something for you so go a visit them. also, Thank you for reading my ROMW (Review Of My Week)
I hope you come back and read some more.

I hate reviewing places like 7-Eleven, for three reasons. Firstly, everyone knows what to expect. Second, the staff have thankless jobs -- usually they only get complaints, and nobody ever mentions when they do good. And thirdly, it makes me feel like a Karen.
But I also hate getting the feeling like I'm being inconvenienced, when all I wanted to do is spend money somewhere. And well, I spend in the realm of 50 dollars a week here on coffees, energy drinks, coconut water and lottery tickets (yeah, I'm a lottery sucker). I started coming here for coffee daily, just because I wanted to switch up my usual places -- and I ended up staying because the coffee is pretty good (which I already knew -- I worked at a 7-Eleven for two years), and cheap. But also, two of the staff here are extremely friendly and warmhearted, which I don't feel I get at any of the fancy coffee shops I go to. I'll mention that these staff members are Michael, and the lady who left on maternity leave (I can't remember her name... Krista or Kayla maybe?)
So anyway, I go here every day to get a coffee for me and my girlfriend. I ended up getting the 7-Eleven rewards card and app awhile ago, but the barcode on the card had worn out, so I started punching my phone number into the POS, which also triggers the rewards program. I don't know how it works exactly, but the associate is supposed to then press something which triggers the rewards. I could be going here 7 days a week, getting two coffees each time, when the 7th one is supposed to be free, and during that time I never get a free coffee -- that is, unless Michael is working. I don't normally complaint about inconveniences like this. Instead, rather I bottle it up and joke with my girlfriend about it.
Well today, I was already in a foul mood because I slept terribly (construction). I brought up that the transaction was wrong with the staff, and they sat there and argued with me, when I knew for a fact I had a free coffee. I checked my app to be sure, and as I expected, the free coffee was there.
So yeah, I'm feeling pretty soured about the experience. But in any case, I've decided I will not be returning.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Charlene J.Seattle, WASep 6, 2017
I guess the 7-Elevens here in Canada be on another level. In the hot/ready foods section not only did they have Jamaican Beef Patties (tasted like Golden Krust), but they also had a whole damn freshly made ramen section. You have to see it to believe it. LOL
This is conveniently located next to the Marriott Pinnacle in downtown Vancouver if you're staying there!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Michael M.North Vancouver, Canada51Apr 30, 2020
I am a professional and I live in West Vancouver. Last night I was walking down West Pender when I passed a 711,and I needed a coffee and something to eat.. There was a sign on the door that said "Closed" but I thought that was just to keep undesirables out. I stood there in the door asking this Asian guy if he'll sell me a coffee. I have never been treated so rudely by anyone and especially as a loyal customer. He was so damn ignorant, I want a formal apology from that employee. You don't look at someone standing in your door and completely ignore them, but look right at them and do and say nothing,it's the height of rudeness, professionalism, and makes the company look bad too.

this must be the only 7eleven where i have not had unfriendly service once! it's pretty new, always clean and they always have enough staff working. it's also the only place near home that can feed me snacks in the middle of every night.
