Love coming to this place! I frequent this place once a week, and it's my go-to restaurant for catering! The wings, salt n pepper fish, chow mein, fried rice, dumplings, etc are all delicious!

The only thing better than the food is the service that the friendly staff provide!

      Pros: Food is often tasty

Cons: Their affordable lunch specials (~$10) are offset by a deceptive 18% service charge (Before tip!!) on the second page of the bill.

Check your receipts because they rely on unsuspecting customers.

P.S. In this circumstance we were a party of 2.

Usually for groups of 5 or more than 5 people, we will charge a service fee, but our waiters will explain that guests do not need to give more tips. Thank you for your comment.

This is a takeout review of their food only, not part of the dining experience.

Their spicy food selection was generally good, could be spicier but adequate. The spicy wonton tasted like store brought wonton, not house made.

The other spicy fish and beef tofu dishes were fine. If you want some spicy food it's a decent to go option.

One of my go-to places for Szechuan in Daly City! We usually get stuff to-go, but have eaten there recently with a pretty big group of friends, who are also now addicted to the Fish with Explosive Chili! It's fried fish fillets with explosive flavor and spice! Sooooo good!

Something I also recommend is the spicy sliced beef tendon! Super flavorful and nice spice. All the usual szechuan dishes here are excellent and you really can't go wrong. Even their spicy fried cabbage is crazy good!

I've also had their lunch specials here. A protein with rice (fried rice or chow mein for $3 more) and soup for about $10 is a sweet deal! They're super friendly here and prices are pretty reasonable. Parking is usually alright in the area, too. Definitely going to keep coming back here.

Pretty solid Szechuan To-Go spot near South SF/ Daly City area. The stir fried string beans are super crunchy. Mapo Tofu is silky and has a deep flavorful sauce. Spice level content is on a high for all these dishes here, especially with the cumin beef that was ordered. Ordered to go via Uber eats, order was quickly made and promptly delivered. Never ate inside this restaurant to know the ambience, however, if you're looking for a quick pick me up spot for spicy food this is where it's at.

First time ordering here and was not disappointed! I got their string beans and dry fried chicken wings, soooo good and flavorful. I will be ordering from here more often.

      1 check-in

Service was really fast. Food came out right away.

I was a little upset about the egg plant as it was on the older side so the skin was tough and couldn't chew through it

Spicy House is the only late night eats around these parts closing at 930. Truly a great neighborhood Hunan Restu w/ delicious options. Service was spot-on w/ the two women helping all front house tables and to-go orders. Just a quaint restu under a home in the busy Daly City area...just an overall tasty and delectable choice for Chinese/Hunan food. Prepare your taste buds for spicy, but tolerable foods. Would definitely revisit! Xièxiè

So excited to have found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area! Everything that I tried so far was delicious, well seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. We got the chicken noodle soup, bok choy, and cumin beef. The chicken noodle soup was flavorful and the garlic and ginger warmed my soul up. I loved all of the fresh veggies and chewy noodles in the soup! The bok choy wasn't anything too special but it had a great garlic flavor and wasn't doused in oil, which I appreciated. My fave was the cumin beef. The peppers added a nice kick and I liked the cut of beef that they used. The cumin sauce was perfect and I wish I could eat everything with that sauce.

The cherry on top was the at the staff was so friendly and provided good recommendations for me when I asked for their preferences! Definitely check this cozy spot out!

I ordered the mapo tofu and chow mein, which were both very delicious! The mapo tofu was spicy and had that wonderful tingling from the Szechuan peppercorn. Service is very fast and efficient.
