Sacred Taco is on a super vibrant street. We came in on a Friday evening with no wait, which was great because we were starving. I loved the decor in the restaurant with bright paintings and cute mini flower centerpieces on each table.
We ordered a Sacred Chop Salad with carne asada to share. It tasted super fresh, and it was great that the protein add on came with the salad and wasn't an additional charge.
I ordered the "You'll Remember Me Tomorrow" taco, which came with fried chicken, jalapeño, and chipotle aioli. It was advertised as very spicy but I personally didn't think it was spicy enough! Still tasty regardless. I also got the Baja Fish taco, which was a classic standard fish taco. One thing I really loved about these tacos was that the tortillas were perfectly cooked with a slight crisp on the outside.
Our server was super attentive and came by to check on us multiple times. We ordered a pitcher of a margarita, and the server had made an extra large pitcher and gave us essentially an extra glass of margarita, which was really nice.
A great spot! I'd recommend this place to others.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - Kenny L.San Francisco, CA721121123Aug 18, 2024
I've ordered from here a few times before, but this was only like my second time dining in (first for a weekday lunch). We came for their Taco Tuesday special, but given how long it took, we probably won't be doing it again. You only get the deal for dine-in, so we sat down at 12:50pm and ordered shortly after.
The one server was clearly swamped, as it took her over 30 minutes just to get water and chips/salsa to us (she realized when another table sat down next to us). The food took an hour to come out, a one of the tacos was cold. The warm food was tasty, but clearly quality control wasn't top of mind, as we ordered 2 of the same but they came out with different toppings (lol).
We ate and left within 10 min of being served to get on with our work days. Pretty disappointing overall experience.
T aco Tuesday deal is solid
A ctual experience was lacking

Love the decor in this place- the cute tiled mosaic style walls and bright colors- transports you right into a nice Mexican restaurant like in Cabos or somewhere. Really like the concept of the open front of the restaurant and airy space with plenty of seating and even a large patio with seating out the back
We were here for brunch one Saturday morning- wasn't too busy and took a seat at the bar, ordered the bottomless mimosas and two breakfast burritos- one wet with carnitas and one dry with chorizo and spinach tortillas for both- along with the side of homemade guacamole. The food is a little pricey here for Mexican food- but it is more top tier kind of menu with plenty of variety in tacos and interesting options. The burritos were great, bursting with flavor and large in size, really liked the addition of tater tots in the burritos for an extra crispy bite.
Service was really friendly and accommodating but a little slow even when it wasn't that busy- definitely more of a laid back vibe, but we were not in any rush so suited us!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 4, 2024
The service was great. Only one person manning the bar and tables but he did great on a relatively light Sunday evening around 8pm. The food was good, the chips could benefit t being heated up a tad, I would skip the cheese enchiladas since there was barely any cheese, the chicken enchiladas were better and the mole sauce good. I am use to having enchiladas served hot with cheese and sauce on top, this was a simpler version but tasty. The guacamole was fantastic, the steak quesadilla was great and would be ordered again. We also ordered the You Will Remember it Again Tomorrow taco and we would order this again next time. The tap beer selection was limited but with a hazy IPA and Mexican Lager you can't go wrong. We will visit again since we liked the atmosphere and service and the food is worth another visit.

Great service. Good food. Like the drink specials. Also a solid choice for later night food.

Stumbled across this spot when we were visiting the city for the day to get out of the heat, and boy this place was a delight! For a taco tuesdays, all tacos and margaritas are 50% off. Stephanie was very accommodating for our little one who was joining us as well, with a high chair & cup of water.
Such a fun & authentic little spot, the decor is very cute & the food is unmatched. We got the philly cheesesteak, fish, quesabirria and spinach artichoke tacos; each one was so unique and very generous portions.
Thank you to Nicole & Stephanie for a great experience, we will see you next time!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - amy T.Mill Valley, CA259823Aug 29, 2024
They have a good happy hour. Limited drink and draft selection. Good location. There are many taco places nearby & places that have tacos on their menus. These are just ok.

The fish tacos had no flavor and I think the fish had been frozen, which adds to the flavorless taste. Certainly not as good as I've had before in this restaurant or elsewhere.
The service as prompt and when the check arrived, the server was trying to rush me to pay. btw the place was practically empty. I only tip on the food, not tax and any additional charges. I needed a little time to look at the bill to determine how I would tip, but the server kept hovering over me, and I told her that I needed a minute. I finally said to her, "Por favor, soy vieja," and she finally let me be.
I won't return.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1880332Mar 10, 2024
Came by for a late lunch on Saturday and it was relatively quiet. This spot was clean with cool interior design and I believe they had a back outdoor patio as well.
While our food took a while to arrive, we weren't offered any complimentary chips that other reviews had mentioned. I got the burrito with a chipotle wrap (they also have spinach wraps) and it was alright. They went heavy on the beans and rice which overpowered any other ingredient in the burrito. The tacos were definitely a better option on the menu. The meats were perfectly seasoned though either the guac or salsa was incredibly salty. Portions were large and loaded with ingredients. The Al Pastor taco was interesting, it has marinated pineapples which added an almost funky sour flavor (not my favorite).
This place satisfied our cravings for Mexican food though I'm not sure if I would crave this exact spot again. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for the feedback. Although we try to create a 5 star experience for every guest, we wouldn't be able to grow and be better without feedback like this. I've spoken with Chef about your feedback and we are taking steps to change for the better! We have new menu items coming up next week that I really think would be a great option for you. Please ask for Kenny next time you come in and I'll make sure your experience is perfect. - Feb 27, 2024
LOVED trying sacred taco for the first time this weekend!
Ambiance was casual, pretty busy and lively inside. Could be a great place for friends and parties! Service was super friendly too. You can tell everyone here loves being here.
Food was delicious and super reasonably priced. They do not skimp on the fillings for tacos here. They are huge and absolutely delicious, range from $8-$13 I think. The chips were perfect and drinks were delicious too!
Special shoutout to Christian for the free tequila shots and margarita pitcher! My friend and I had so much fun :) thanks for having us! Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information
