      Rich persisted on a challenging engine part I needed and they have the years of experience needed to fix small engines of various kinds
      When my new Goodyear radial went flat in their parking lot they even loaned me a floor jack to speed up my flat tire replacement

      We took two lawnmowers in for service & they asked what we wanted done, went over the process & did a great job. I was going to do them myself but after my third trip to Home Depot, watching a couple YouTube videos & realizing I still didn't have the right spark plug for one or the correct wrench to remove the spark plug I took all the parts back ($ 65) and had the professionals do it and they took care of way more than I was going to try to do. Both mowers received oil changes, new spark plug, new air filter, carb adjusted, blades sharpened, cleaned & more. They get busy & it took about 2 weeks, which is what they told me.

      The shop is located right off the street in Loomis. There is parking that isn't very clear about where to park. I called ahead to drop off and get a time for the work to be performed.

      I was greeted by the employee and helped as I approached the door. There isn't a rhyme to the entrance and much room for people to operate. One customer and how ever many employees working on the various mowers and lawn equipment.

      I was explained what the work was to be performed to diagnosis and when to call back for a status. It was about a month out for it to be worked on at the beginning of spring.

      I left my mower and checked back about a month out. I called and was told a few more days. I was called back later in the day and it was done.

      I picked up the mower the same day. They charge a storage fee after it's fixed. It was working and I used it promptly at home.

      Good they fixed the issue.
      Bad not the greatest pricing.

      Other stuff a month later my mower stopped working yet again. The guy explained the issue to keep it running. I read reviews of the unit I purchased. Combination of poor product (not of the shop) and overpriced. I can go either way. I will attempt to fix it once more to sell.

      Left riding mower with them for diagnosis. Charged $80 for the diagnosis which is OK. Waited 6 weeks. No response. Showed up in person twice. They finally said they'd try to get the parts. Then about an hour later, called me and said: "parts not available". He didn't even know what brand of motor the mower had but knew "the parts weren't available." Told me it was a brand that wasn't in the mower. I told them to put it back together and I'd pick it up. They charged me $170 to put it back together, un-repaired.
      I took it to another place and they got to work on it right away. Said no problem to fix it.

      $250 for them to tell me they couldn't repair it and return it in its original condition.

      My Husqvarna chain saw needed to be serviced. Brought it in to A&J Repairs and got a quote for a complete service. Mike working the counter was an awesome help and very friendly. The mechanic in the back came out front and he was very informative and a great guy too.

      They originally quoted me two weeks for a possible turn around on the service, however it was finished and ready the next day.

      Chainsaw fired right up and ran like a champ. I can't say enough good things about A&J Repairs and highly recommend them!

      its been two months since I dropped off my lawnmower for a simple tune up and this jack ass can'nt get it fixed. He never calls back after I left multiple messages, he does not follow up with the parts he orders and the mechanic has no experience. I think this company hires anyone with a pulse and no experience. Terrible,terrible experience and wuld stay away from this company at all cost.

      I brought my Pressure Washer in for a clean up and to get it running.
      Told me 90 bucks and a week. It was 5 days they charged me $60.
      Old fashioned top quality service! Highly recommended!

      Took my Echo in for repairs and it was promised to me by the owner
      in two weeks. I called on the date due. It was under warranty. One of the people there ( Jerry ) states he had to call Echo about the warranty which I took the paper work with me and gave it to them at the time I dropped it off.
      There service sucks and the man I talked to ( Jerry ) was rude. I will never go back. They charge you $40.00 when you leave it off in case it is not under warranty. They started it and called and stated nothing wrong. Pick it up and asked for the $40.00, and they ( Richard ) the owner stated it was not on the warranty and kept the $40.00. I have referred a couple of people that have not yet gone there and I will surely let them know what happened. In fact I have already e-mIled them.

      I like to support local businesses, and I understand I might pay more for products and service, but I don't expect markups of 40% more than nearby box stores and certainly expect to be treated with a more friendly vibe than what I've received the last 3 times I've gone there. I gave this a shot multiple times, and doubt I'll use them again unless I'm in a major pinch.

      Geez, trying to write a review and on screen here a minute ago it had something about jeans. Well anyway, I rely on A&J to help me out with electric saws. I attempt to get done here in the yard what I am capable of which is limited/77 years old. A&J always give me a helping hand by putting in a new chain or sharpening the tool itself. Because I don't know what I'm doing (i.e. getting saw caught in tree, etc.) I appreciate the excellent help provided by A&J.
