      Shady business. Owner tried to charge close to 200 dollars to replace the cord on a Miele that served me well for many years. He sold me a refurbished Miele for a decent price, when the cord failed on the replacement vacuum, again was quoted 200 yo replace. When I went to a different vacuum shop they fixed it for 52 dollars. They also "recycled." My beloved Miele and I feel like an absolute fool for giving this place any business. Never again.

      Take your business elsewhere if you don't want to be ripped off.

      My elderly Step Mom came to A-One, wanting to support a local business and not Amazon, for advice on a vacuum for one room in her house that has carpet. She was fully taken advantage of by being sold something that is way too big and heavy for a 78lb woman and that was $1,200!
      The salesperson claimed she tried it in the store (low pile carpet sample to try it on) and refused to take it back a mere 5 hours after the purchase and never used, claiming it would be a loss to their business despite it never being used. I called the business to see if we could work something out and the salesperson was rude, abrupt and talked over me the entire time and again refused to take it back. I find this shameful and very disappointing that this happened to her. I do not recommend this business and will share our experience with every person I know in Santa Rosa and having lived here my whole life, I sure know a lot of people. If I could give - stars I would.

      I am to let everyone know that the owner of this store is not to be trusted with any vacuum services. not only did he say that my vacuum was nothing like it was when I went to pick it up the vacuum he change the motor and made the vacuum sound like it was broken. when I brought to him to only fix the kid of the vacuum for the trash bag to stay attached.
      I don't recommen this situation on anyone. a perfect vacuum that I bought for 1200 brand new completely noisy now when all he was supposed to do was to fix the lid of the vacum he actually changed the whole motor making noisy and vibrating. sucks for me

      I hope the older gentleman, the owner, considers what I have to say. I wrote an angry review on 5/9/23. I want the owner to consider giving further training to the tall, caucasian man who works with you. Consider, I came in with my Dysan vacuum asking to have it serviced. This man told me that my Dysan was so old that it wasn't worth it to service it and walked me over to $700 plus vacuums. I don't think he evaluated me well before this sales strategy. My Dysan is older and yet it works well. I also have a Kenmore Progressive canister vacuum so for all these years of use I have alternated use between the two machines. I wouldn't have brought it in for servicing had I wanted to spend $700 on a new vacuum. After I said I didn't want to spend that kind of money the man immediately disappeared. I noticed that there were less expensive models he could have shown me and didn't. I purchased a filter, accidentally, the wrong one, and I live in Petaluma and don't usually go to Santa Rosa. I tried to return the filter when I was again in Santa Rosa and the owner blew up. 1) NEVER BLOW UP AT CUSTOMERS IF YOU WANT REPEAT BUSINESS!! And, your parting words were something about if I ever needed service and ranting about me having bought a filter on Amazon and if I ever needed service.... All of this would have been avoided if the man who was helping me, had given me what I came in asking for. 2) CONSIDER BETTER TRAINING THIS MAN. It sounds like Heather W's mom must have met the same man. I want to give this sales guy a chance, but frankly, he wouldn't work for me. I'm reading the reviews of those who were dissatisfied, it appears, we all had the same salesman. 3) THINK ABOUT WHETHER YOU CAN REALLY AFFORD THIS SALESMAN, since he's garnering bad reviews (which, if you want to stay in business, you cannot afford).

      11The owner has no sense of service and of treating the customer well. He's so busy trying to make a buck that he forgets who to thank for being a paying customer. He talks too much and will not listen or discuss the customers needs. He claims to be a local business person deserving of local business. But he forgets to incorporate any sound business policy that welcomes you as the customer. He's a lousy businessman. So beware when you buy from him he has a no returns no discussion nasty attitude. I didn't appreciate his rude demeanor. he yelled and barked telling me that I had never come back and bought bags from him and he just acted really weird. I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Doing business with someone like him is not worth my time.

      I just love these guys. I have a Sebo vacuum. They help me with upkeep and parts. It's way less wasteful to have one quality vacuum for a lifetime than to keep getting a new one every two years because Walmart changes the size of the belt and you can't fix your own vacuum. Super high quality vacuum and excellent customer service.

      Oh and just to flex I have to tell you I have seven pets, a kid, and long hair and this vacuum is able to keep up with us.

      Wonderful customer service was my experience.
      Very knowledgeable, friendly & I felt they were honest w me when the repair on my Dyson would cost more than a like-new refurbished one of the exact model sitting on their floor.
      They took my broken one & I left w a refurbished one. Works wonderfully & it's been a month.

      Brought in an Oreck vacuum my husband bought years ago from the owner. I wanted to get it repaired since it was no longer picking up Collie fur, cat fur, or human hair.

      He had not even examined it before stating it would cost half the original price of the vacuum (original price was $1,000.00) to repair it. Does he have x-ray vision like Superman to have stated such information? He also said Oreck was out of business, can't get parts for them, aren't reliable machines, and it's 20 years old anyway. However, he had new Miele vacuums made in Germany ($1,000.00 price range) and, today only, could offer a 10 year warranty. There were also Ritter vacuums at a slightly lower cost. When I said I have severe arthritis and back problems, which originally made the Oreck a good choice, he implied everyone gets older so what's the problem?

      I felt like I was dealing with a used car dealership salesman who wasn't interested in repairing but only selling. I told him I had to talk with my husband. I left the vacuum there and returned the following week. Upon explaining we couldn't afford a new Miele or Ritter, he replied that I was lucky he still had our Oreck to return to me.

      Was I treated rudely because I am a senior citizen with health issues? Because I'm on a fixed income unable to afford such luxury vacuums? Because I am a woman and unable to make an educated vs. impulsive buying decision?

      Deciding that a second opinion was necessary, I went to Redwood Vacuum & Janitorial supply store on Piner Road. Jeff and his secretary were polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. He actually examined the Oreck vacuum and said all it needed was a new belt and the accumulation of dog fur extracted. Really? It didn't need $500 of repairs or a German made vacuum that cost $1,000.00? For any and all vacuum needs we will be going to Jeff at Redwood Janitorial. And when it is time to buy a new vacuum we will be purchasing it from Redwood.

      Very very helpful with my Sebu vacuum. They Even honors credit for any warranty parts without asking.
      Great service and pricing for vacuum supplies better if you factor in online shipping charges.
