A Simple Way to Move

We have used A Simple Way to Move twice now--back in 2021 to help my mother move (which actually involved moving large appliances and furniture to three different locations!) and just this month, for our own move.

From the very first contact with the company, we were impressed with the level of communication and customer service. Brian supplied me with all the details (no surprises or last minute additions). His preparation and detail made it so convenient and easy to book the job and feel confident a key part of our move would be taken care of.

For both moves, Brian has been efficient, clear, and reliable. I initially called another company just for due diligence and to get the best deal possible. The other company didn't call back right away and when they did, couldn't send me any info via an email or a text and seemed hesitant to give me all the details up front. I had to ask questions to get details--a definite contrast to Brian's transparency, clarity, and effective communication.

For each move, the team was on time and ready to work! One of the movers, Jesse, worked on both moves. He is so calm and kind, and his confidence and willingness to make the move as smooth as possible really makes the temporary upending of your life so much less stressful. We really appreciate Jesse's impressive strength, professionalism, and easygoing vibe.

Then there's Josh. He took the lead in terms of the strategy for loading the moving van. He was careful and meticulous, and he constantly checked in with us and made us feel completely secure in his Tetris-like stacking of the bins, lamps, beds, desks, bikes, etc. It was pretty impressive to watch.

Throughout the move, they frequently checked in with us, asked us where we wanted our items placed at the destination location and put all the beds together and anything else they had to dismantle to move.

The company's overall streamlined, effective, and skilled delivery of services provided a HUGE relief during what can be such a stressful and challenging time.

From start to finish, it was a flawless move.
Brian gave me a very accurate quote. He told me exactly what to expect. And that's exactly what happened. It is truly a simple way to move.
Three guys showed up with a 26 foot truck and had the whole thing loaded in about two hours.. it took about that much time to unload on the other end. My furniture was all wrapped and handled very carefully. Nothing was damaged. They asked questions, and put things exactly where we wanted. They were polite and, holy crap, seriously strong!
I am so thankful that I found out about this company. We are both in our 60s and moving is complicated enough as it is! We decided we're not going to perform any heroics this time. Hire the best!

A dedicated move.
Initially hired two people but then added one more to make the move quicker with a 26' truck. On time arrival. Same day delivery with about 200 miles travel distance. Big items were wrapped in plastic by them to prevent any scratches. The quote was actually less than what I finally paid. Overall it was a smooth move.

Brian's crew were amazing. They are very efficient and helped my family's move. Great service and I highly recommend them for your moving needs.

Communication was amazing from start to finish and the crew were extremely hard workers. We were very happy with the service and would recommend them/use them again ourselves.

Communication was A+ start to finish. Thorough quote with what to expect if this then that. Showed up on time! Hustled the entire time. I wasn't sure what to expect and I was prepared to babysit and direct the entire time. I never needed to do this. No standing around! These guys were constantly moving. All three of them were polite. Even told me they would fix my dining chair for me (when they picked it up to move it to their truck) they noticed a leg was loose, pointed this out and said they will take care of it for me. Moving is on the top of my least favorite things to do but if/when I do it again - these are my guys and they should be yours too!

The two guys that charged me 800 dollars to move 12 items 4 blocks away. They took a break every time they took an item out to their truck. They complained a lot and were late. Horrible experience.
Total rip off. Two guys and a truck did my whole apartment and were very fast and friendly for a little more money but totally worth it.

Hands down the best movers. We have moved across country several times and have never had as great of a service as we had with these guys. Not one scratch or scrape on our new floors and walls. They were so nice and happy as they worked quickly and efficiently. They made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it and even helped us with one item by fixing the bottom so we could place it on our new floors. We moved a 4 bedroom house safely in a few hours.

Brian's team showed up promptly and exceeded my expectations. I gave them a quick tour, and they went straight to work. The team was careful with items, efficient, and communicated with me and one another every step of the way. Their estimated time for the move was very accurate.
