Aaron's Septic Tank Service

On time and very quick and friendly service. Thank you for being prompt and clean. So many other services cancel last minute or run late. Not Aaron's.

After they saw the review, someone reached out to me.

"I have spoke with the owner again about the lid. He said we would replace it with a redwood lid at no cost. However, he would like the Yelp reviews removed please. Please let me know if you would like to proceed with this and I will work on scheduling the work."

Since I had already replaced the lid. They offered to refund but only if I delete my post. I said I would update it with whatever they decide and declined to delete. They did not refund me so the rating is unchanged at 1 star. Very poor service.

I didn't know much about septic tanks and recently came to the understanding that the septic tank here hadn't been pumped in probably decades. I found where one of the hatches was and spent a couple days digging it out (not continuously, but I'm a software guy so digging dirt was an unusual and taxing effort for me!).

Then I found out there are supposed to be two hatches that need to be exposed for pumping. I had no idea where the second one was and wasn't about to dig it myself now.

Called Aaron's as they had been recommended by neighbors and I told him the situation. He said they don't dig them out anymore, but recommended Javier of Castle Plumbing & Rooter to have someone come out to find and dig out other hatch and then schedule the pump out. You can see my review for them also in Yelp. They were able to come out the same day and did a great job.

So I was able to call back Aaron that day and was able to schedule a pump out for the next day. They gave me a price range depending on how big and full the tank was, with the expectation that my situation would be basically full since its been so long and a time range of 10am to 11am. I told him I would prefer the later end of the time range. The price range seemed in line with what I've heard from others. Maybe just a touch higher, but not at all unreasonable.

The next day the truck arrived just before 11am, The driver/operator was courteous and professional and definitely knew how to maneuver the pretty large truck as were up a bit in the hills with narrow twisty turns roads. And the path to the septic tank required a bit of skill to get to as well.

He got down to setting things up and pumping things out. It took him a little over an hour which meant it was pretty full and pretty big, ending up on the high end but not over the of the price range quoted.

I was relieved to hear that there was no major disasters from not having it pumped for so long other than he found a lot of "trash" in there. Which must have come from a long time ago.

All in all, it ended up being much easier than I expected and really appreciated their professionalism and transparency.

This business gouges you abusively by taking advantage of emergency caused by natural mother. This happened to me a few days ago unfortunately, they charged my tenant thousands of dollars by pumping up a tank with only 1200 gallon capacity, and I'll be the one to pay the bill. Trying to resolve the dispute over the phone, but it ended up ugly as expected.

This business, seems related to another business called Able Septic Service. There are brothers and sisters. Watch out, think twice before going to them!

Complain was filed against this business with CSLB. Let's see how it goes and I'll update here.

I called Aaron's Septic Tank Service, because 2 of my bathrooms have started to gurgle after flushing the toilet, after using an Auger to help with the clog it would happen again in the next couple of days, so I call Mike (the owner) and he listen to what I did and what was happening , during our phone conversation he was able to diagnose my problem easily, and referred me to his Plumber, the next day the plumber came and fix the problem, A big thanks to Mike for his honesty and helping his clients in guiding them in doing the right thing. He even game me an advised on maintaining my system. He did not make any money from me because , I did not need a septic pump service but his good deeds are appreciated. It also goes to show his services are about helping people first. With his experience I would definitely recommend him for your septic needs.

I called Aaron's to empty the tank for my sump pump with very little notice. I needed to have it cleared by the afternoon but the company I had booked before did not show up. When I called Aaron's to set up the appointment, he helped work with me to make sure that they would be able to perform the service and set up an appointment as soon as possible. On top of this, he answered all the questions I had not only about the service, but also some other questions I had about my sump pump.

The technician showed up early, was incredibly professional, and got the job done quickly and thoroughly. I was very impressed by both the work that was performed and the ease of setting up the appointment.

I call a lot to get septic tanks cleaned up. Mike always calls me back and schedules us ASAP but always makes sure the service is needed based on the record and any concerns I have. If they don't think it's needed they'll be honest with you and don't just go to charge.

We needed our septic tank pumped and Aarons really came through. In fact Mike, the owner, helped me understand my system and helped point me in the right direction to resolve the underlying 2 problems that a national company with a fun jingle had no clue on resolving. A little background: we moved into our house about 6 years ago and used that national company to inspect and pump our system, the problem was, as it turns out, all they did was check and pump out our pumping station, not the actual septic tank (we have a pump up system to the leachfield). Mike walked me through the function of the system, the various parts of the system and helped connect me to a competent septic repair service and together Aarons and Castle worked to fix my system and pump my actual septic tank. So glad I found Aarons!

Aaron's was great. Responsive, easy to schedule, reliable. After chasing around a couple other companies, I eventually found Aaron's and they were great. Came out and did an outflow assessment for me. I echo another customer's experience that they aren't trying to up-sell you. I told them I already knew my tank was cracked, so they said, ok, no worries we don't need to inspect it then, we can just do an outflow assessment. Ryan was great, super knowledgable and answered all our questions. Mike even went to the trouble of contacting another company that we would need to do the eventual repairs (install new tank), so we were well set up for the next steps. Really appreciate their top quality work and professionalism.
