Bought a fireplace from this store 7 years ago. Fireplace remote is completely dead. I called and asked what they could do. They said," We can sell you another one."

I asked about reprogramming support they said I would have to call the fireplace manufacturer.

No help at all.

We purchased a new gas fireplace from these nice people. From the owner, Mike, to Roman and Richard, everyone was "above and beyond" on their customer service to their overall professionalism. The same can be said for the installers, Terry and Joseph. I wish I could give more than five stars. They were very patient with us.

ABA just finished the installation of our new gas fireplace. What an outstanding experience we have had working with each of their employees: Mike, Chris and Tony. They are knowledgeable about their product and made helpful suggestions for the right model and look for our home. We were impressed by their care of our home during the installation, putting down protection for our hardwood floors and cleaning up after their work. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and I enthusiastically recommend them to others. Even my husband who is a "wood burning fire" person, has appreciated working with them throughout the process.

We bought our gas fireplace from ABA 5 years ago and have had nothing but great service ever since. Drew was thorough and made sure everything was done right when we first ordered and installed our fireplace. Since then we have had our fireplace serviced twice, nothing to do with the gas fireplace itself but a broken remote and a leak in our chimney that was letting water run down into the firebox. Mike was very helpful when we initially called asking for help and promptly getting scheduled a service appointment. Both Terry and Joseph did a great job on their service appointments, going above and beyond to make sure everything was working right. We love our gas insert and would not hesitate to buy from ABA Hearth & Home again.

Terry was very helpful in the selection progress of our new Valor Radiant Gas Fireplace Insert, as well as the installation. Terry is and very knowledgeable and professional. We recently replaced the wood stove in our home in Palo Alto with a gas stove. We had excellent service from Cynthia who worked with us through many pictures and phone conversations remotely to choose an excellent stove that was more environmentally friendly and had the same BTU as the wood stove that it was replacing. She helped us through the pricing and the installation process which included installing a complicated gas line from the tank-less water heater to the meter, and all the way to the stove. Everything was completed on time. The service was courteous and professional. Everything was done within the price range we had agreed and the work was completed to our satisfaction. My wife and I would highly recommend this company for all fireplace related services. It was especially a pleasure to work with Cynthia!

Horrible customer service. Rude owner who couldn't be bothered to answer basic questions about the products. Has a thing against people of color is the feeling I got.
