ABC Service HVAC & Appliances

One of our two A/C zones went out during the recent 100F + heatwave. While most HVAC repair shops were completely underwater, ABC answered the phone quickly and politely. We set an appointment for the next evening. They arrived on time, and we were back up and running in under an hour.

Ray quickly found our problem, got our unit running again with a fresh fuse, and talked me through the overall condition of our - somewhat aging - system. He explained that the aging compressor is the most likely reason the unit is having difficulty, and pointed out the upgraded capacitor that was already installed. He answered all my questions and also took a quick look at the second unit to see if it was in a similar condition (and I was only charged the diagnostic fee for the first unit).

We talked through several options: from leaving the setup as is, which would easily be the cheapest option, but we should expect the problem to come back at some point, to revising the unit with a new compressor (and possibly fan), to replacing larger parts of our system. He clearly knows what he's talking about, and I came away understanding exactly what I need to research next to make a decision on what to do.

Our house is cool again, everything was painless, and service was quick and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

AC was failing, called ABC based on strong Yelp reviews. I've honestly had worse luck with HVAC service providers than any other type of contractor, so I was worried. Response from Alex, the company owner, was quick, appointment scheduled immediately. Needed replacement part was unfortunately not readily available from supplier (certainly no fault of Alex's- but his communication on the small hiccup was great) but ABC got it as quickly as possible and repair was done almost immediately upon receipt.

Very quick response, and thorough explanation for my AC. Ended up proposing adding Freon for me, price is fair and we did that on same day. My AC works perfectly after the added Freon

ABC service attended to two of my AC units. They were prompt to respond, prompt to attend to the matter, efficient in diagnosis, and cost effective for the services provided. Max was the person who visited. A big shout out for him.

Great job to find the leaking and the fix. They also charge reasonably. The other thing is they drive very stylish Hybryd car, not a heavy truck :)

Completely unreliable: they rescheduled the first appointment, then didn't show up on the second one.

Company responded quickly, provided the pricing up front, and came when promised. Service person was competent and quickly determined the issue was my thermostat.

Slightly disappointed that he couldn't do a safety inspection of my furnace while there, specifically to test for carbon monoxide. I asked if there was any preventative maintenance that we should do and he said no, he could only fix broken things.

Max and Gennady did an excellent job fixing our heater. Highly recommend ABC services.

I have a wall heater in which the pilot light would not light. ABC answered promptly and they were able to send a technician the same day. He was prompt, friendly and helpful. They had the needed part on hand and were able to fix it same day. Great service.

Sergio or maybe Sergei was fantastic. Quick and knowledgeable got the furnace working and quickly. Reasonably priced too! I will not hesitate to call them again!
