Thank you Yelp for helping me find AC Construction! Aurel and his team are outstanding. Our project involved painting, electrical, and outdoor hardscape.
Pros: Fast response, flexible on scheduling, finished on time (!), super professional crew, and excellent communication and expertise.
Cons: Wish I had found AC Construction sooner!

Aurel is just an amazing resource of information - he has such a wide level of expertise in all things about your home. During the estimate, he was thoughtful, observant, and offered sage advice. He was so honest and was able to pinpoint what was really necessary - there was no upselling here! What really impressed me was the way he was able to explain what was really needed, and what wasn't. Other companies' estimators just went ahead and gave an estimate for the job, without having the conversation about whether it was actually the best way forward. Aurel's estimate was provided quickly by email, and scheduling was seamless. We were able to add a few other projects too!
He was also on site every day of the job, giving updates as to the progress.

The job itself was impeccable. In particular, the painting was amazing and just transformed and refreshed the exterior of our house.

I'll definitely be calling Aurel an AC Construction for any future home improvement projects!

I recently hired AC Construction to replace all the siding on a three unit condominium in San Francisco. He was very easy to work with, he completed the project much faster than I expected, and he did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the end result, and I would hire him again.

Aurel and Nikolai did an awesome job finishing my garage as a craft/wood workshop. A little framing, drywall and paint. Did everything he said he was going to do. He will be my first call for future projects.

Aurel is a great general contractor. He is highly responsive and passionate about his work. We wanted to put a side door and window to a detached garage. His quote was reasonable and he even picked up the window and the door from home depot for us. He even painted the whole side of the garage for us after realizing the the trim paint doesn't match the garage paint. Highly recommend him for any job that you have. Thank you Aurel

My house was in bad need of some exterior repairs and updating. The old siding needed to go so I got a few bids to replace the old rotted siding on my house with new Hardie Fiber Cement siding. I ended up hiring AC Construction for the job. The result is beyond what I was expecting.

Aurel and his guys are friendly, honest and very detail oriented. We were under a timeline because I had signed a lease to rent out the house and the tenants were ready to move in. Aurel was very understanding of the situation and even called in some extra people to help finish the painting and have the scaffolding removed in time for the tenants to move in without a hitch.

I have since recommended AC Construction to a neighbor and also to a close friend work work on their homes. They had great communication, excellent quality work, sincerity, honesty and fair pricing. I would not hesitate to work with them again!

Aurel was an absolute pleasure to work with. Aside from being thorough, paining attention to fine derails, and making a place thar looked dead beatuiful with life, Aurel us a fun guy with excellent vibes.

You don't have to hunt him down he will check in with you, whether it's good or bad news, provide his best opinions and let you decide. This is despite being busy with multiple jobs, he makes you feel like a priority.

After we were done, he even noticed I over paid on my final check. Stand up job! Would definitely work with again.

Now to rent my beautifully remodeled 3 bed unit.

We worked with Aurel for over a year. In that time we were not able to complete most tasks. Trash was left in front of our house for weeks in large pills including loose boards with nails sticking out. We finally canceled our contracts after numerous attempts to get permits were denied not because the county wouldn't approve but because he was not detailed enough to submit things right the first, second, third, 4th etc times. when changes were required he would not follow up to do them. He would blame the county for doing things by the book.

Aurel is a true professional. He has years of experience and is excellent at providing timely quotes and fair pricing. He has the ability to anticipate problems and plan for how to handle issues as they arise. His team of craftsmen, including John, take pride in their work. Aurel is a very clear communicator and manages each job with an eye to detail. He always goes the extra mile to make things perfect. This hall bath was original to the house. We are so happy with the work of his team. We will be doing more projects with him.
