Ace Locksmith

Had to get a lock rekeyed for a rental. Reached out to ACE earlier today and Alex provided a quote via text after I sent him photos of the lock. I told him that I'd get back to him to schedule. I managed to free up some time this evening so I texted him to see if he was available. He was! He was able to come by within the hour and he rekeyed the lock in about 10 minutes and provided two new keys. Alex did the job faster and better than the last locksmith I hired to re-key that lock. I have his number saved in my phone. I'll be using Alex for my future locksmith needs.

I was chatting with Alex and he said he's a mobile locksmith and works out of his van. He said he also gets a lot of calls for car keys.

Don't recommend to hire this person

He came on time and responded fast. However I only asked to replace two basic locks as I lost keys. I was not in urgency as o had access to my garage.

He offered also to change the entire lock for a better one and agreed my old ones were trully cheap.

My huge mistake that I own is I didn't ask him how much as I thought he was going to be reasonable. I had multiple vendors at the same time fixing my home and I didn't ask.

It took him 45min to remove old ones from main door and install new one. He installed Schlage key lock set, the handle and lock and the upper key lock set are available for 60$ on Amazon (is not my fist lock) and he did change the cylinders to new one.

Is not my first lock I am very experienced with home repairs

For this he charged me originally 700$ and then down to 650$ after I told him he should had ask me first if this was going to be that price. Sure I own my mistake of not asking but don't trust the ethics of this vendor at all, hence I don't recommend this vendor.

He did install it properly.

Lock a price for the install when you hire a vendor and if you want to install a new system buy it yourself.

Where do I even begin with this customer service nightmare? I called in with a simple question, and it was like I was asking for state secrets. The person on the other end sounded like they were chewing gravel, and I had to repeat myself so many times I lost count.

It was as if they were trained to be as unhelpful as possible. I got more attitude than assistance, and by the end of the call, I was the one apologizing for bothering them.

Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Customer service here is a masterclass in how not to treat people.

On time arrival, quality communications and service, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The issue was resolved very quickly and very well for reasonable price. I will absolutely use them again!

Service request was very fast. Alex was very responsive.
A latch was broken. Noah (?) was very friendly and opened a door using his tools and expertise. Cost was reasonable.

I accidentally, locked the door to the first floor area of the house.
The key was left in the room, behind the locked door.
I called around and got a quick quote from Alex. We agreed on the price.
Akex came 40 minutes later, as he promised.
He opened the door in about 2 minutes.
I used Zell to pay Alex for a great service.
Thus, in 5 minutes, my whole "lockout ordeal" was over.
Alex thank you so much for such a great service.
I would definitely recommend Alex to solve your "locked doors" situations.

This dude is amazing! He came over, charged me a reasonable fee, and put my key back together. He didn't even try to oversell me on making a key for me.

I asked how fast he could get here. He said 15-20 min. He got here in 15 min on the dot.

Got my door opened quickly.
