Ace Parking Inc.

This is admittedly partially a case of "you should have read the fine print", but this needs to be said anyway.

This facility's signage is designed to be misread/misunderstood.

1) There is a BIG sign out front saying "Night & Weekend Special - $12.00". There is fine print below it about in and out times which is too small to make out via Google Street View. Maybe 9pm? So I missed it by 15 minutes if that's right.

2) The hourly rates sign says "$6.00 first hour, $2.00 for each additional 1/3 of an hour". So $6 an hour.

I got there at 8:45 on Saturday evening and left around 1:30 am after seeing a movie at the IMAX, and had to pay $28.00! Complete and total ripoff.

(And to those saying I should have parked at the other parking garage closer to the IMAX and gotten validation, when we left the last showing of the night that garage was already gated shut and people had to call someone to open it back up to leave! I'm guessing that will mean an additional charge.)

Usually not a big fan of being around transients. There was one that entered this garage elevator lobby. One of the back wheels broke off his cart carrying his belongings. We saw this as a group across the street. We were heading back to our vehicle. Once we entered the lobby there was a verbal altercation between the homeless man and a security guard named Kyle. Stopped the homeless and instead of just walking him off property decided to curse at this man infront of myself and my family. I had to send my family (including a child) upstairs to our car while I had to step in and try to mediate the problem because it seemed to escalate really quick. I was able to calm the homeless man down then Kyle decided to aggetiate this guy buy telling him (F.U.) I will drop you infront of me. As soon as he said that, I told the homeless guys. To just get his cart and go somewhere else because obviously the security guard has no descalation techniques. Trust me I get it, the homeless guy shouldn't have been there but to curse at him and tell him your going to whoop his butt doesn't make you correct either. I told Kyle sorry, your on your own now. You shouldn't make threats and I went up stairs. The homeless guy followed to retrieve his cart. He even stated he plans on getting his cart and leaving because he doesn't want to get in trouble with law enforcement. Another security guard showed up with Kyle at which he should have had Kyle walk away to help descalate the situation. They both failed to find a solution. Kyle seemed like he just wanted a use of force and was trying his best to have something happen. Absolutely crazy. I literally had to have a talk with my kid after seeing what we saw and explain to them how some people are just not polite. We were part of a huge wedding party at the sheraton hotel. I will be informing others from our group to no longer bring business here. Absolutely ridiculous

** DO NOT PARK HERE OVERNIGHT!! ** I stayed at the Sheraton and this was the lot that the valet pointed me to. It has Sheraton branding but they say they have no affiliation. During our overnight stay someone stole the catalytic converter from my car. Of course the back of the ticket says they hold no liability, but I now find many reports from hotel staff as well as the parking garage acknowledging that this has happened to others recently. It's a known issue by management and they've added no security or additional cameras. I'm out $2000 to $3000 so wanted to post to help others avoid this horrible business.

New lady manager is crazy making her own rules! She even insisted to take away my value card because i didnt use it the day that she harrassed me for using the parking ticket instead of the card, but how am i gonna use the value card when there's no money it?? And that's why we have stamp at work to stamp the ticket! Their system is always down gates are not always working, ticket machines are not always working properly and also lots of cars are getting broken into and they let homeless people sleep in the garage.

Have used this parking garage for over six months. Always encountered issues with the badge I used and on several occasions had to wait in long lines of people trying to exit.

i was on work leave for several months. Called to cancel my subscription for March 2015. I explained my situation. i asked if they could just charge me for 4 days in March. I was told no. The reason was that my credit card had been charged and it was based on policy. I was told there were exceptions for people on leave, but wasn't provided with any information on exceptions. I asked for an explanation on how it was impossible to reverse a charge. The person on the phone became upset. As I explained that i was not satisfied with the policy and how i would like to cancel my subscription, he hung up on me. I immediately called back to provide my personal email since i am not at work and call went to voicemail. I was not rude or loud during the call.

Don't agree with the policy and horrible customer service.

No longer going to park here.

Worst Parking Garage!!
I am a paid monthly parker at this garage. I don't recommend parking there at all monthly or hourly. Besides the outrageous prices hourly you'll be lucky to find a spot.
Monthly parkers get treated the worst. Every day you wonder if you'll have a spot to park in. The owners only care about the bottom dollar....money!!! Nothing else. They never communicate with the monthly parkers on things that effect parking. They've had an elevator down for 6 months and expect one elevator to be enough during busy times.
There are better garages around this area that are friendlier and more cost friendly. Oh and be careful if you exit the garage using the outside stairs on J Street, you might step in something gross!!!

I had a great experience while working downtown and parking at Ace Parking. The staff was always very helpful and even sent out emails to make sure that the "monthly parkers" knew when a special event was in town and the garage would be crowded with day parkers. The garage was always clean and well lit. As a woman walking a few blocks from my office in the dark, I always felt safe once I got to the garage. I regularly saw staff patrolling the garage in golf carts to check on everything. When I needed to cancel my parking pass, they went out of their way to make sure I didn't get charged an extra month.

We were stuck waiting to exit for an hour on the third level. It was absolute craziness to exit. Breathing all the exhaust for the other 100 cars in line ahead of us trying to exit as well. Terrible.

Appalled! The Ace Parking garage on 13th between I and J has doubled their fees since Monday! It took 45 minutes to get out of it tonight because there was only 1 cashier and then we had to pay $24! I used it Monday and paid $12. I won't use it again!
