Ace Plumbing

PGE came out when we reported gas leak & no hot water-- PGE tech determined thermal-pile was too low (3) & would need to be replaced at some point as eventually would go out again.

Rather than waiting for it to totally fail (esp. in mid/late evening as this is when it happened) called Ace to make an appointment and asked for Tony to come out to do repair. Even though water heater is out of warranty Tony was able to get needed part and provide 1 year warranty. So very happy that we didn't need to replace the entire water heater.

Ace is the best.

Oh no-- two days before X'mas and one of our toilets was backing up! So called Ace that needed help ASAP.

Joe V came out and set to work right away clearing the sewer line. We flushed both toilets multiple times and everything was once again as it should be thanks to Joe.

I've said it before and will say it again--call Ace whenever you have a plumbing issue so that they can set things right. Joe V is now added to my list of recommended plumbers.

With the weather getting colder called Ace for fall/winter check-up of our unit. Aaron called to let me know when he'd arrive and he was hear right on time. It's great to know we'll have no problems heating our home this winter.

Called Ace this a.m. as daughter's toilet was leaking at the base and sink doing a very slow drain and Sabina advised this could be done this morning.

Todd and Ken (his apprentice) arrived right on time as scheduled and got right to work snaking out the sink & then pulled the toilet and no wax ring any more. The angle stop was also leaking and needed replacement as well. After the work was completed they cleaned the area up leaving no mess for me to deal with.

Today, Monday (written on June 5) -- had Todd from Ace out again-- this time for my toilet--it kept running and wouldn't stop till you giggled the handle. Knew this wouldn't last forever. Was originally going to have Todd replace the guts-- but while at Home Depot on Sunday went down the plumbing isle and seen some reasonably priced American Standard toilets-- and low and belhold they were shorter than my current throne which isn't comfortable when you're not really tall.

Todd removed the old toilet & installed my my new just right toilet.

Again, no matter the plumbing issue-- call Ace, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing worse then flushing toilet & watching in horror as it starts backing up to the rim instead of going down--luckily it didn't overflow onto the floor. Wasn't going to chance flushing a 2nd time but went out to check the clean out and it was overflowing! Called Ace and Everett came out & snaked out some really nasty looking roots. Now all is flowing as it should.

So glad that Ace responds fast for problems like this.

Was having problems with my daughter's bathroom sink, slow draining, and my shower, was unable to remove the existing shower head (which had been replaced by a handyman while doing other odd jobs) in order to replace it with a new one.--so who you gonna call-- Ace. Tod came right out on Saturday (hurray) and took care of my daughter's sink and seen that the handyman had taped the old shower head to the rod--I couldn't see the tape at all (only 4' 11")--so this was an easy fix.

No matter big or small Ace can handle it all.

Had Martin out to tune are AC/Heat unit for the upcoming summer to ensure it will continue to perform properly. This past winter was really brutal but we're hoping summer won't be as bad--but if it is we will be well prepared for it thanks to Martin.

Whether you have a new or an older model-- you can count on Martin to keep it running in top condition.

Ugh-- had nasty leak under the sink-- so called Ace.

Everett came out--apparently the "old" faucet was finally toast. I wanted a similar style, 2 handles w/sprayer & he replaced our old faucet & sprayer with a much nicer one then what I had picked up at Lowe's when the 1st faucet leaked. Additionally, we had the water filter faucet replaced to match.

You can't go wrong if you call Ace--the job will be done correct the 1st time.

We bought are air/heating unit from Ace-- and to keep it in excellent running condition called for Martin to come out and do the Spring tune-up. Our unit is still working great and that is thanks to Ace.

I didn't care for the sink in the master bath from the day we moved in-- finally this Dec I had enough and asked Tony (he was doing a minor repair for us) if he could get a replacement for it. A few days later he called me from Home Depot and sent a picture of a sink & cabinet he thought I'd like. Wow-- he picked out the perfect sink/cabinet. I even have a drawer now (didn't w/the old one).

Should have written this sooner but better late than never-- Thank you again Tony.

Winter is coming so to ensure our unit is working efficiently, called Ace and Martin was sent out for our Fall tune-up. Martin explained everything he checked when after he was done. Have complete confidence in Martin and will request him again for our Spring tune-up.

It's starting to heat up so called Ace and arranged for Jeremy to come out for the annual tune-up. As always, Jeremy arrived on time and promptly went up to the roof where our unit is.

Ugh-- bathtub was draining slowly causing a substantial "puddle" when showering. Called Ace and asked for Tony. He arrived as schedule wearing his mask & set to work immediately to clear out the clog of long hair in the drain.

We want to keep our A/C and Heat running in tip top shape-- so had Jeremy come out for the Fall tune-up. It's good to know that we'll be warm & toasty when the chill hits. If you want the best in town for service-- call Ace.

We have used Ace for a number of years for not only Air & Heat but also plumbing and highly recommend Ace.

Better late than never--called Ace (7/6) as toilet wouldn't stop flushing. John was out quickly & replaced the part & toilet working again. The job was completed quickly & the price was fair. We will continue to call Ace whenever a problem arises big or small.

Dennis has managed to keep our air/heating system going for quite some time now but the beast finally had to go--esp. before summer kicks in. Thanks to Dennis & his crew we will still be cool as cukes in the summer and toasty in the winter with our new Trane system.

The nights are now getting colder & there's a nip in the air in the morning-- so to keep our heating system running well called Ace and Dennis was out to perform our fall/winter tune-up last week. Dennis will be back in Spring/Summer for our air conditioner tune-up.

Noticed some water around the base of the toilet--not much but knew that it meant the was seal was compromised-- and with kitties in the house didn't want them thinking this is a spot they could "use". Called Ace & Parker came out this a.m. & put in the new seal.

Nothing worse then taking a cold shower-- ugh-- so called Ace after hours left message & Gary called me shortly after my call. Help we have no hot water. Gary was out as promised & our old water heater was removed & replaced in no time & we had hot water again as Gary was headed off to his next rescue.

I'm watching TV & hear gurgle gurgle coming from the kitchen-- nasty dirty water coming up from the kitchen sink drain. So called Ace and out comes Parker to the rescue. Told him was washing clothes when this happened. He snaked out the drain line & ran a water jeter from the kitchen cleanout & the trap at the washer--making sure there was no clog left behind.

Yes, I did ask if Tony was working today (he wasn't) and was very pleased with Parker's timely arrival & quick resolution. So, if your "regular" guy isn't available--don't worry as everyone that comes out is an ACE!

It was time to replace my kitchen faucet--things just aren't made to last like they used to be-- but at least I can count on quality installation by Tony. He efficiently gets the job done & never leaves a mess behind when he finishes.

I can always count on the guys at Ace doing things right the 1st time.

Anyone who reads my reviews w/know that I'm a big fan of Ace for both plumbing and AC/heating needs and/or issues.

Called Dennis earlier this month for our regular tune-up of AC before it gets hot again. Thanks to Dennis our unit has been running smoothly-- and of course, we'll have him out again in the fall for a tune-up of our heating.

The faucet for my daughter's tub literally fell off when she went to turn the shower on & that's when we discovered it was made of plastic--who the heck installs a plastic faucet in a tub in the 1st place? Guessing it had to be the original home owner who didn't want to spend a lot of money when replacing it--a real Mr. Fix It.

So who you gonna call--Ace and Tony's the man for the job. He put in a proper faucet made of metal and additionally replaced some worn out parts in the toilet tank as it was starting to leak--heard that tell tale sound of water without the toilet being flushed.

So if you want the job done right the 1st time--get the best, hire an Ace!

Well guess what happens when someone in the family likes long hair-- eventually you're going to be in ankle deep water in the tub when showering. Called for Tony & he had the bath draining properly again.

Ace is the place for all plumbing issues-- big or small.

Our heating system started acting wonky again-- at bedtime we'd turn it to 64 & would raise the temp to 69 - 70 when getting up. What's been going on is that the stupid unit would run for a few seconds than shut itself off & come back on again 40 mins. later. And of course, when it comes on again the code is reset in the unit so there would be no telling what part needed to be replaced. Additionally, this doesn't happen every time-- usually it comes on & stays on.

Well this a.m. didn't turn the heat on till 8:40 & low & behold-- cold air came out instead of warm-- I got my address book & looked up Ace's # & in those few seconds it shut itself off again. I dialed Ace & said please send Sam (Trujillo) out ASAP as it'd reset itself w/in 40 mins. (no code to pull then).

Sam arrived before it could reset & was able to determine it was a bum pressure gauge-- hurray! Sam's the man!

Fall isn't that far off & to ensure our heating system will run efficiently this winter I called Ace & requested Sam Trujillo to once again do the maintenance service for our unit. Sam is a real pro & keeps our unit running smoothly. In fact, he's also taking care of my neighbor's unit now after my recommendation.

While Sam was out today, I even arranged our air/heat maintenance service for 2011--after all I want nothing but an Ace working on our system and Sam is the man for the job!

I have been using Ace for my heat/air service for over four years now.

We purchased a new heat/air system thru the SMUD program from another heat/air co. One year later, during the winter on a Saturday we had no heat & the company we purchased it from wouldn't come out on the weekend!

Instead of going on the net--I actually pulled out the yellow pages & seen Ace's ad & gave them a call. It turned out there was a defective part, which Ace replaced under my system's warranty. Ever since then, I have Ace perform the regular air/heat maintenance on our system.

Their ad says it all--hire the best--hire an ace!

Needed a leaky garden faucet replaced and the same with a bath fauce and a toilet that kept running randomly. Scheduled quickly, arrived promptly and finished efficiently and clean.

Thanks to Ryan for his professionalism and ability to explain things to me and answer all my questions confidently (also got a quote on a new water heater as ours is aged around 16).

This is the 2nd time they've been out, previously installed a new garbage disposal in the same professional fashion.
