Acre Kitchen and Bar

I absolutely love the energy that surrounds Acre, from its outstanding European aesthetic to the upbeat professionalism of the staff. I am constantly dreaming of the stone-fired pizza, more specifically the Margherita made vegan. The plant-based cashew cheese is so rich and luxurious that it will have you second-guessing if it's actually vegan. I love that they have options for vegans and are always willing to accommodate. That is a huge plus for me when visiting any establishment.

I also really love to see the bar team in action, which adds to the thrilling entertainment aspect of enjoying your pizza bar side. I am always amazed by Gina, who runs the bar like an absolute boss. The drinks I watch her craft are absolutely exceptional and poised with such elegance.

Acre is the perfect spot for a night out alone for pizza, a date, an afternoon drink, or social gatherings.

ACRE is a great restaurant in Rockridge. Very cool vibe. The food is very tasty especially the Gold Rush pizza. Service is always very friendly. I can't wait to go back!!

Everyone is so nice there as well. Holly is an awesome person if u receive her as a server/waitress. Roy as well so so fun and nice as well. Dirk (the cook) makes great food for dinner. No 1 can beat him!!!

Our server, Kevin, was excellent! Please don't lose him! On top of that, our food was absolutely delicious as well as the martinis!

Overall- an excellent experience - we will be back! Also, the restaurant is an excellent location in Rockridge!

I'd give this spot a solid 4.5 stars, so it's better than the 4 Stars I'm giving it...

As my wife and I explore the East Bay for our new "Go To" spots, this restaurant has been recommended numerous times, so with a night off from the kids we had our date night here.

I was impressed with numerous things... the venue is so pleasant. The seating area upstairs has a cozy feel to it with really nice booths set up along the windows. The service staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was really good.

The one gripe we had was that the salads were a bit overdressed, but this is something that can be remedied with a little instruction. Other than that, the meal was awesome! It was nice to be treated to some live music as well!

Overall take is that we'll be coming back, especially to try the prime rib night!

This is a nice, casual place. I went for brunch and had the mushroom omelet with avocado. I thought there would be chunks of avocado in the omelet but was pleasantly surprised to get a good amount of sliced avocado on the top. It came with a lot of mushrooms that were quartered.The potatoes were okay. I like my potatoes cooked more golden brown. Had the affogato for dessert. It was soft-serve ice cream and was okay. Service is friendly and food was served in a reasonable amount of time. We went at 1:00pm on a Saturday, and there were quite a few available tables.

With the rare freedom of a babysitter (thanks Oma!) my husband and I decided to go out for a pre-dinner drink. Acre's upstairs bar hit the spot.

They do happy hour every day and if you're feeling peckish, get the hummus. Now you might be thinking, "Hummus? Boring!" But you'd be wrong. This is tastier than average homemade hummus with fresh vegetables and pizza-like bread.

Though it was rainy the day we came in, there was still plenty of light in the space. My Mommenpop spritz was perfect and my husband enjoyed his Babylonia (old forester rye, st. george rye gin, cardamom, pink peppercorn, lime, saffron) and remarked upon it fondly.

This place is located next to Market Hall Foods located in Rockridge. I always walk by this place and see so many people enjoying their food so I decided to give it a try last week. I came on a Sunday night at around 7 and I was seated right away. The interior was modern and from the downstairs dining area we could see the wood burning oven which was neat. The service was friendly and our orders were taken promptly.

My boyfriend and I ordered the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer to share. These were delicious and were served in a balsamic vinaigrette that added the perfect amount of acidity. I definitely would recommend ordering this if you come here!

For entree, I ordered the chicken and frites. The amount of food was super generous. The chicken was a little dry but the sauce below helped bring some moisture back to the chicken. I enjoyed the seasoning of the chicken.

My boyfriend got the salmon and it was cooked very well. The salmon was well seasoned and all of the other components on the plate worked well together.

Overall, I would come back to try some of their other food options like their pizza.

The pizzas are amazing here. I've been 3 times in a short period of time. Was not expecting to find such good pizza but it's one of my favorite for Neapolitan style pizza! Easy to make a reservation as well

The hummus is out of this world. I guarantee it'll make you feel that you're in the Mediterranean without the price tag

We had a housewarming party and acre catered our party. They provided great food and service that we could count on. We thank Pete for delivering the food and helping us set it up. Thank you, Chef Dirk for providing delicious treats and food for all of our guests to enjoy. We received high praise from everyone that enjoyed the food from Acre kitchen and bar. We look forward to heading into the restaurant and trying out the ambience as well as more great food. If you are ever in the downtown Oakland area stop by Acre and tell them the Garrett's sent you.
