My wife and I just completed a large renovation on our newly purchased home in Petaluma. We were fortunate to engage the services of several good contractors: roof, kitchen, dry wall, HVAC, floors, and we painted both inside and outside the house. The HVAC project, the recommendation of our realtor, brought us together with Brian Adams of Adams Heating and Cooling. Brian work in installing our air conditioning unit was outstanding. He is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, a good listener, and very reasonably priced. He will point out things you've missed all the while staying within his proposed budget. I recommend him without reservation.

We have had a great experience with Adam's heating. They have been very responsive even on evenings and weekends throughout our project.

We started with another company that really made us feel like they were just trying to get us to do the most expensive thing despite what we were asking for. So we called Adams. Josh came out and took a look at the heater and attempted a fix. It didn't work and we ended up needing a full replacement. They had both the part for the fix and the replacement unit fairly quickly.

All the technicians have been very nice and do good work. The prices seemed reasonable to us for the work as well. Overall, very happy with our service and will use them again if needed.

Looks like Adams gets pretty much 5 star reviews, especially Josh! Well, he saved me minimum of $189, which is about what 5 other HVAC companies would charge me to come out and replace thermostat (if that was all that was wrong). Josh, on the phone, walked me through the simple diagnosis to see if thermostat was faulty, which it was. He even helped me pick out the right thermostat, over the phone, when at Friedman's and reminded me to get batteries too! I installed it myself, no big deal. So grateful to Josh, here to help, not to take my $$ unnecessarily, made my day! I will definitely be using Adams for any future HVAC needs, and will tell friends. Also this reminded me that I can be resourceful, that I should at least search Utube for videos before I need to outsource for repairs!

I received a $10,000 estimate from a heating and cooling company to fix a long-standing problem with my home. I have had 4 other companies evaluate the problem over the years, without being able to find an affordable solution.

Brian Adams came out and spent 15 minutes looking at my system. He diagnosed the problem and came back 2 days later to fix it. He charged me $600 dollars. He fixed the problem that no one else could figure out, and HE ONLY CHARGED ME $600.

Brian Adams did an excellent and very thorough job cleaning out our vents, which probably hadn't been cleaned in many years. Communications and scheduling were efficient and pleasant, and the price was fair and on the low end of the ballpark he had quoted.

Our home furnace stopped working this morning. Yikes. Our normal service and repair shop couldn't come out today, and since it's Friday, wouldn't be available until Monday. I did a Yelp search and found Adams Heating and Cooling. Gave them a call. Josh promptly answered and said he's usually booked out a week or so but had a cancellation and could stop by now. Wow, he was at our doorstep within five minutes! Josh quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad motor and said he'd be happy to go get one and be right back. Thirty minutes later Josh was installing the motor and finished the job. We have heat! Adams Heating provided amazing customer service, professional installation and saved the day. Five stars!

Professional, curious, and responsive. I don't think anyone can beat these guys for a job well done. Honest advice, and honest repair. Generous price. About 7 years ago I chose another company to replace our furnace because I thought the quote these guys gave me was too high. Boy did I make a mistake. Adams will not lie to you about things you don't need and try to sell you the moon and stars. and after my recent experience with Adam's, I am a forever customer now.

Adams H/C quoted us $1,500. for duct cleaning. Our home is 2,700 square feet with thirteen vents, basement that is cemented with easy access if necessary. I called COIT and their truck mounted duct cleaner is far stronger than the ones these other companies use, and they quoted me $475.00 for the EXACT same job. I repeat: $475.00. for the exact same job.I suggest everyone start sharing their quotes on Yelp to let these people know that we are tired of these ridiculously high prices so that maybe they will think twice before having the nerve to write up such outrageous estimates. I have had trades people actually tell me that they take payment plans, as if that solves the problem. Always get three estimates and never hire the first person you speak with.

HiGHLY RECOMMEND JOSH! our furnace had been turning on and off for years for no reason and I had finally had it while coming down w Covid. I called Josh at Adams heating and he explained a few things to me about he thermastat heater connections. then he said he doesn't usually service southern marin but he would come down because he knew how hard it was to get some one. I was blown away. He showed up two hours later and fixed a problem no one had solved for ten years!!! He was super communicative, knowledgeable and professional!!! Call Josh TODAY!!

Our landlord called Adams Heating & Cooling when our thermostat stopped working and our experience with their technician Josh Rossi was extremely positive. Not only did he fix our original issue in a professional, friendly, and economical manner, he also took the time to clean our air filter and explained the importance of creating a regular DIY maintenance schedule for future cleanings so it never gets so dirty again! As you'll see in the attached photo, Josh's good vibes were also given our cat Bootsy McGillikitty's enthusiastic seal of approval as evidenced by the fact that he gleefully jumped on his back within the first few minutes of meeting him and happily stayed by his side the whole time he was here.

The technician that answered my call was great. Very nice and helpful. He arrived on time THE NEXT DAY (!!!) and diagnosed the problem with my heater quickly. Then we had to discuss price. My heater, a wall heater, is at Home Depot for $1500 including tax. The owner of adams heating wanted to charge $4500-$5000 for the heater and install (including possibly working on the vent pipe in the attic). No way! Went with another company and spent $3500 all in, which I thought was still quite a bit.
