      I'd recommend Advance for collision repair, based on the following:

      First visit: Repaired and repainted bumper damage to my previous car about years 6 years ago = perfect match to colour.

      Thereafter, I visited two different competitors based on recommendations for car damage not caused by me and it was terrible service, uncaring attitudes and easily identified poor workmanship that I had to ask be redone twice.

      Back to Advance . . . .Second visit: cracked windshield replacement and same bumper fix and repaint to my current car this year. Windshield done well - they called me in to show trim options to approve alternates. The bumper paint wasn't colour matched, but they admitted it and gave me a decent discount.

      Third visit: Yes, same bumper paint repair needed, but this time there was improved attention to detail, colour match and finish. Near perfect.

      All in all, Advance folks were super at customer service, and timely with the repairs. They spent time with my questions and seemed to care about the repair results. Vehicle rentals were quickly arranged, with a pickup by Budget in short turnaround. Service that met my expectations. I don't want to be back, but if I need, I will return to Advance.

      Customer service poor - I was 5 minutes late due to construction and the difficulty getting around all the blocked off streets in downtown Victoria and instead of my appointment taking one hour as discussed they said I would need to leave my car there for 3 hours (was working from home that day and no way for me to get back home). Very inflexible.

      Had a scratch repaired and they didn't cover the wheel and the entire hub cap was sprayed with black paint. It was difficult to schedule the appointment and the people working that day did not offer good customer service, they were unclear about timing and where I should park and when I politely asked that they clarify they were rude. I've read some of the other reviews and would love to be one of the people who had a good experience, but I am sad to say that my first and only experience was terrible. I can't recommend them. Hopefully they read these reviews and train their staff better.

      Body work was good, but there was paint on the interior car seat. Not much, but not supposed to be there! Customer "service" is deplorable. From the rude girls who work the phones, to the estimators, everyone has an angry vibe, acts like you're bothering them, and they don't want to be there. Whoever the large, tall man is who wears the tie and untucked shirt, you probably shouldn't shout at your staff in front of customers.. it's humiliating for them, and embarrassing for customers. Will not be back. Byeeee

      I would NOT recommend this shop. When we picked up our vehicle it was filthy and dusty, so we had to take it back to get cleaned. Then we had to take it back again because the door handle no longer worked.
      We were treated terribly. I don't think they know anything about customer service and their work is not very good. Do yourself a favour, and do not take your vehicle to this place.

      Advance Collision has repaired 2 vehicles for me and each time they exceeded expectations. They communicated clearly during the repair process, completed the work efficiently, and the quality of work was of high standard. I would recommend them to all of my family and friends!

      Very happy!! Advance Collision provided a very friendly atmosphere and gave me a quote significantly less then other places (315 dollars vs 2000 dollars) Booked me in and completed in a short time frame and got the car back nice and clean. Thanks again

      They are professional, but, the repair service and time is bad.
      Took my car in after getting hit pretty bad when parked on the street. Took them over a month to get it done and now It has all kinds of problem with clicking sound, dashboard light.etc. I moved to Vancouver and I am ready to make another claim with ICBC.....

      The best car repair experience I've ever had in my 25+ years of driving. I brought my car in to fix a dent in my fender (hit and run) and asked if they could try to do it for under my $500 deductible. They said they could try to bang it out for only $40. I thought this was a great quote with hardly anything to lose. When I returned not only had they washed my car inside and out, they fixed the dent so it was barely noticeable. But since they were still a few minor ripples in the metal they said they weren't going to charge me anything. I insisted that I was happy to pay for the work but they turned me down. On top of all that they also threw in a free jar of touch up paint. It's wonderful to see a company in this industry act so generously. Hope this helps.

      We've used Advance three times in the past year for two of our vehicles. Damage was not major, parking lot incidents, but we wanted the repairs done. Each time the service at the desk was excellent and the shop work exceptional. I was concerned with color matching but, not an issue at all. When we picked up the vehicles, they were spotlessly clean. Recently had another parking lot incident (in our new VW), again with minor damage - surface scoring but no obvious dent, but we thought it would still need $$$ to repair. Took it to Advance because I trust them. Kevin looked it over and said he thought it could be buffed out. Have to say I had my doubts. Then, to my surprise, he took it right into the shop and no more that fifteen minutes later, it was fixed with no evidence of any damage whatsoever. And the cost....we'll it was AMAZING! Hope we won't need body work for our vehicles again, but if we do, we're going to Advance - won't even bother price shopping at other shops. IanG
