He was amazing. Woke up that morning to a refrigerator that was not cooling. Everything in the freezer was thawed. He diagnosed the problem over the phone. He completely worked with my schedule so I could get back home from a doctor's appointment. He was there by 1:30 and fixed within an hour. Replaced a compressor on a five and a half year old LG.

Carlos Rocks!!! He came in, put up with our loud and noisy dogs, talked with me the whole time about what he was doing and what needed to be fixed, had the part (yay!) and installed within 20 minutes. It worked! I highly recommend Carlos and Advanced Appliance Repair.

Carlos answered the phone right away and set me up an appt. for the next day. He texted ahead of time as he promised, showed up, quickly fixed my dryer, and offered advice on the use of the machine when I asked for it. (apparently I was overloading the machines, wearing out dryer with too-large loads). Thankful for good, honest help when we needed it!

My (15 year old) sub-zero wine frig quit cooling. I called Advanced Appliance Repair and spoke to Carlos. He was on a call nearby and got here in a couple hours. Awww, this dude, Carlos, is straight up!! Most of us worry about being burned but he is an honest one. I literally just hung up the phone with him. My issue is not something he fixes because it is electrical. He referred me to someone and texted the information.

I created a problem with my old refrigerator by attempting to replace the the water filter with a Amazon certified compatible filter and broke the filter housing causing a huge water leak in the kitchen. It indeed was slightly different and caused said damage. We are happy we found Carlos on YELP. We had to leave a message and Carlos responded in less than ten minutes. After a short conversation he suspected what had happened and ordered the part. One day later and we are back in business! Thank you Carlos!

I didn't end up using him but he offered great advice to save me a lot of money, just to fix the broken glass on our oven. I ended up just buying the part online and replacing myself but I really appreciate the honesty and help from the owner.

I had an issue with my built-in GE Monogram refrigerator. The refrigerator temperature was 44 degrees and the freezer temperature was 15 degrees. I thought someone at home may have left the refrigerator door open and there may have been ice formation and that is why my refrigerator wasn't cooling. Decided to trouble shoot it myself and shut off the power overnight but it did not work. I tried changing the filter but in vain. In the meanwhile the refrigerator was getting from bad to worse and the temperature was 52 degrees and food was getting spoilt.
I called this company yesterday around 10 am and Carlos himself answered the phone. He mentioned that he was finishing up a job in Cameron Park and that he could be at my place in 30 minutes. Carlos showed up at the promised time, got to work immediately and figured out the problem. He told me that I had a bad fan and replacing that should solve my problem. He had a new fan in his truck and replaced the fan. He was fairly confident that it should fix my issue. If not the next step was to check the motherboard and the compressor. He asked me to wait 24-48 hours.
This morning he messaged me to follow up if my refrigerator was working fine. It indeed was. My freezer reads -3 degrees and the refrigerator 38 degrees.

I had a broken Ice maker and Advanced responded quickly to diagnosis the problem and fix it the same day. Prompt, efficient and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.
